TownPlace Suites By Marriott in Selma, TX was outstanding. This is a new hotel and the hotel was very clean. The free breakfast included hot entrees daiy and was very good. Stephanie at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. I whole-heartedly recommend this hotel.

I really liked how this property sat in its own area, despite the busy interstates nearby. Backed up to a golf course with a beautiful view made it feel like we were out in the country. The staff were so friendly, and so kind and so helpful.,,a wonderful experience. The only thing that I really was disappointed and wished I would’ve known ahead of time was that though a Marriott bon voyage member I did not receive any Marriott points because I booked through *******. Not sure why that is as in today’s economy trying to find the most economical place to stay for several nights is what most Americans would do. I chose Marriott because I am a member, and I t thought that I would earn points. I only discovered after booking and read through all of the fine print that I would not receive Marriott points. So disappointed! Not sure that I will filter in Marriotts in the future when booking through *******.

Very clean hotel. Check in and out was greeted with friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Short drive to Retama.

The room itself was quite nice. There was a mini kitchenette that was super nice to have and an apar**ent sized refrigerator that was a bonus. My main complaint was the towels. The day we got there we found fresh BLOOD on a bath towel and a hand towel. Thankfully I caught it before my children used the towels. I took them to the front desk and was given clean towels in exchange. e asked for the room to be cleaned after two days but it was only cleaned the day before we checked out.

We loved this hotel. The front desk people were so nice and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfy. The breakfast had a great variety. We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in town!
