This is a very old hotel so don't expect luxury. The Rooms were large with great large glass windows and doors that open to a balcony to sit outside. The rooms were clean and the A/C was ICE COLD the way I like it. The hot water for the shower was was great and hot. Our room was 210 and the best in my opinion we had lots of trees off our balcony so the birds ate bread right in front of us. The pool was a very fun pool that was two levels opened until 11PM. The putt putt was free. The Breakfast buffet was $8.95 and was abundant in choice and delicious, The location was great and convenient to walk everywhere. Grocery Store was across the way. I booked this 4 hours before I showed up and got the room for $51.00 Taxes are high state and resort taxes so beware. Oh and one last thing Parking was FREE great deal in itself because parking in this town is expensive. This hotel is located two buildings down from the Gatlinburg Covention Center.
My boyfriend and I were in Tennessee for our yearly trip. We have stayed at many properties in the area and this was by the far the best one. The smell of apples is the first thing you notice. The hotel is incredibly clean, the rooms are so comfortable (mattress and pillows). Everyhting about it was so homey. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Location perfect, great firepit outside. Breakfast delicious, we loved the eggs and sausage links along with cappucino and hot chocolate. Food always stocked. We love the apple magnet that goes on your door as the do not disturb sign. Great firepit to sit outside at night. View of the mountains and a balcony to sit on and enjoy the beauty of Tennessee. Be sure to check out the apple barn (in walking distance). Great restaurants, winery, and the best fried pies. Coffee in the lobby and of course hot apple cider. And after a long day of hiking relax in the hot tub. My only complaint is I did not know about this property before and will not stay anywhere else when I am in Tennessee.
ゲゲストThe housekeeping staff was very helpful. The room was clean and spacious.
We were in the building across the river. Member of party was not able to walk to breakfast area and the parking area was severely lacking enough spaces (not to mention hard to maneuver in). So we were never able to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast.
The parking area for the room itself was small. There were cars having to park wherever they could.
The kids really enjoyed the geese and ducks and other critters we saw in the area. By being on the first floor, we were able to enjoy the animals up close. And we enjoyed being next to the river. It was very peaceful.
JJen BBeen staying here every time we come great location close to town you can catch a trolley rooms are large we always stay in a deluxe room in the B building which is super nice the pool is great the black bear activity we've had this trip has been amazing sitting on the balcony watching them and playing in the creek we will always stay here every trip.. room #419
Very comfortable clean room. Affordable for the two of us without breaking the bank. The room above us the first night we could hear was taking a shower. It was leaking thru the light of our shower. It stopped. Never did it again. We do not know if it was fixed, or if no one stayed above us the rest of the week. Balcony was a little small however the right size for the two of us. The front desk person could have kept an eye on the breakfast bar better. One time moldy bread got put out somehow. It was only one. Constantly ran out of stuff and everyone had to constantly go ask for more. It would have been nice if the stuff was filled without us having to ask all the time. The fire pit was a BIG plus. Enjoyed and it helped us become good friends with someone else who was staying there. And we are all already keeping in touch. Pool looked clean. However we were so tired from sightseeing all day that regretfully didn’t get a chance to use it. All in all the rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. Few minor things but were corrected so we will probably stay again. Glad we stayed here instead of pigeon forge or Gatlinburg due to the busyness of those towns. We could go sightseeing there and come back to a quiet space and chill and relax.
very close to everything its location is in town had great time will be back was clean everyone was helpful parking was full but once you get a spot no need to drive everything is walking distance cute place great price was cold so didn't use pool or see only from room breakfast everyday even had biscuits and gravy !!
SScarlett TThe bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We were on second floor, nice not having to climb stairs there was a concrete ramp instead. The outside could use some updating, but the inside has been updated. The area was quiet, not alot of noise. Didn't get in pool but it looked clean. I would stay again.
