Shimla Greens Hotels & Resort

Travel agency(who also did a bad job) suggested me this hotel stating that this is on par with 4* luxury hotels in Shimla. Honestly, I would see this property as a 2 star. Bad food, no lift, linens and towels were all black and brown, the construction is below sub standard. just having rooms with wood work does not quality to be a luxury. Access to this hotel is not easy. This is a Veg hotel but the food I believe is cooked with stored or stocked up Vegies and other grocery. It cause me serious health issues that I ended up spending in hotel treating myself with medicines and fruits (which my driver had to go long distance to get them). Luckily my wife and son did not eat this food else entire family would suffered. My plan to visit places in Shimla was all destroyed. The RO water provided in this hotel is not good. I will not suggest or opt for this property again. The staff was polite and tried their extend to make me feel ok but end of the day, they are serving what was given to them(bad food, bad towels, bad everything). Even our tour driver who is a local complained about the quality of the food and his sufferings with the food. Overall this hotel stay has costed me and it spoiled my Shimla plans.
