Friendly staff, very clean room with everything needed. Restaurant staff helpful and good quality breakfast.

Booked on website . Got confirmation email. This was in January 2024 for stay in may 2024. Emailed in may 2024 to try to book dinner reservation and breakfast reservation at set times due to going to airport after our stay. Was told they couldn’t find our reservation. Was told the hotel was overbooked on that date so not everyone who booked could stay. Sent them our reservation email that said ours was confirmed and paid for. No response. Rang and spoke to staff who told me they would call back. No call back. Absolutely awful service and still no reply to phone complaint or email complaint . Still no room given when we had a confirmed reservation and no apology for whatever mistake they made . And still no refund! Never book and certainly don’t book online and turn up as will likely be overbooked and turn you away. Worst service ever

A wonderful and charming place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and the food is highly rated. We found the room very clean and was in a quiet corner of the hotel. Plenty of parking and not too far from town. If you do need a great hotel in Sevenoaks then I would recommend wholeheartedly

Very easy check in and check out. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. My daughter was getting married at the hotel, the care and attention we received for such an important day was wonderful. They couldn’t do enough for us and we were made to feel very special and they genuinely wanted us to have a perfect day

In my honest opinion, it was okay... But it isn't worth it for over £100. I slept on the sofa bed, it did not feel like a deluxe room. I could feel the actual bed itself, mattress was thin. So it was a mix between uncomfortable and comfortable. There was this red stuff on the wall which disturbed me, the day after I sat in one of the chairs and there was the same red stuff and that also disturbed me. I had dinner, the starter was okay and the main was not that enjoyable... The only food that tasted good was the potatoes and the pudding, it was okay... Not the best. Shower was really good. The TV was terrible though, every time me and my parents turned the TV on and tried to watch something on the recommended bit, it would just turn off and wouldn't work. Like I said, not worth it.

Went to a friend's 80th birthday party. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very tasty and the chef had catered perfectly for the celiac guests. Only one of the main courses at the buffet was unsuitable for celiac sufferers. This was clearly stated and other main courses were prepared in a gluten free environment. I would recommend this venue to celiac sufferers with confidence.

Stayed at the Donnington manor hotel on the 20/21 April after attending a nearby wedding. On arrival greeted by a polite attentive assistant, already checked in online, so only had to register car for free parking and collect room key. Room 307 second floor, very nice room clean , well decorated and quiet. All the public area's in hotel in very good decrotive condition. Sleepy well on memory foam mattress, slept well. On Sunday morning went for breakfast in the restaurant buffet style, good selection of fresh fruit cereal and cooked meats, eggs cooked to your order (nice touch) all good quality fayre enjoyed breakfast, and service by all staff. If in area would definitely stay again

I really like this hotel. It is inexpensive but has a personal touch that transcends that. You can see someone really cares. The rooms are nicely done, the bar is very nice and there’s a lot of commi**ent to technology. And THAT is where they need to get better. First of all there is some insane app that doggedly pursues you after registration to get every possible detail from your passport and credit card. But the site isn’t the hotel’s own website and it freaked me out that I had been phished. Even the reservation confirmation comes from an app that isn’t the hotel’s own website, but it’s a different app. Someone knows enough about technology to be dangerous. There’s not enough thought put in here to demonstrate that the hotel understands the risks of e-commerce. If you want an online check in you have to give an option for someone to ignore the link in the email and go to the website and independently verify it. Then there is the tragic misuse of technology at the bar. The hotel tells you everywhere that they don’t do anything with cash. So of course you follow their lead and don’t take cash to the bar. Thrn when asked to pay, you are presented with an option to add a tip. But it doesn’t work!! How embarrassing for me and the server. I tried to add a tip for Saraa’s excellent service. The credit card machine wouldn’t let me, and I had no cash in a hotel that said it wouldn’t accept cash. So now I still feel embarrassed that I couldn’t tip her and Saraa was very sweet about, but sweet don’t pay the rent. So PLEASE get an IT guy who understands human behavior and your hotel would be a hidden gem. Delightful staff. A real effort made to provide a hotel environment that punches above its price. You even get points for making the effort to have state of the art technology. Oh you are so close to being a five star review.
