「Would stay at this premises again. Originally told that room did not come with AC (No remote in room) or Wi Fi. The Wi Fi was clearly stated in the booking and this was later provided as well as a remote when challenged about this. Room was modern and spacious, bed was comfortable with good quality linen. No fridge or kettle in the room. Room was off a well furnished common room and could potentially be a problem if other guests stay and are a little too loud, if you are an early to bed type.」

「It was a delightful stay at the Forest View Villa. The food was delicious, especially the rolled pancakes for breakfast and the view amazing. We highly recommend this place. As the train connection between Kandy and Ella is not yet (end of February 2026) working, due to the devastating cyclon in December 25, you might want to consider asking your host to drive you. It might be less stressful than changing busses 3 times.」

They recommended we attend the Tooth Relic Procession and suggested us to visit a waterfall, which turned out to be the most breathtaking waterfall I've ever seen. Their local knowledge truly enhanced our experience. When our cab dropped us off in the mid , the hotel staff immediately came to pick us up in tuk-tuk. The staff was consistently polite and accommodating, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay.
