ホテル ゲッサー ジリアン(Hotel Gesser)

An excellent 11 days of ski-touring with half a dozen friends, all staying at this hotel. A good base to explore the Villgraten and Kartitsch areas and venture into the Sextner Dolomites in Italy. The hotel provides a great base - warm ski-room with plenty of heated boot drying racks, modern bed-room with comfy bed and plenty of storage, and a really good shower. The meals (breakfast & dinner) were superb and service excellent. Also a quiet sunny garden in which to relax in the afternoon with a drink. Parking close - short distance to carry the skis and day-packs.

A group of UK and Austrian friends (7 in total) stayed for 11 nights in March on a ski touring holiday. Hotel Gesser was an excellent choice - well positioned for different touring areas and a great hotel. The Gesser family were super hosts - friendly, informative and efficient, the hotel was very clean and modern, the food and drink were top quality and varied and the ski room was the best we have ever used! All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to return and can thoroughly recommend Hotel Gesser as a great place to stay in Ost Tirol.

Thoroughly enjoyable all round. Sillian turned out to be an excellent base for a ski-touring trip. The food at Hotel Gesser was top notch, very nicely prepared and lots of variety (given we were staying for 10 days). The rooms were very clean and warm. The ski room/ boot drying room was one of the best; warm, excellent boot and ski racks. It meant every day could start with dry equipment! Finally - and importantly - the family owners could not have been more accommodating and friendly.

This is my second visit to Hotel Gesser and it will not be my last! I love this wonderful, family-run hotel with comfortable rooms, delicious food, and kind owners. It is a hidden gem in the south Tyrol for both winter and summer holidays and is one of my favorite locations in Europe.

Very friendly family owned hotel. Good location, that allowed us quick access to the Dolomites (tre cime) The rooms were very clean! Dinner (good value) and breakfast were both great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying anywhere near Sillian.

Seit über 10 Jahren kommen wir jedes Jahr mit Freunden zu Ostern ins Hotel Gesser. Die Herzlichkeit und das Gefühl willkommen zu sein, sind ungebrochen. Die Zimmer werden regelmäßig komplett renoviert. Das 4 Gänge Abendessen ist hervorragend.

Hier stimmt einfach alles! Ich kenne das Hotel Gesser im Winter und im Sommer und es ist jedesmal ein wirklich schöner, erholsamer Aufenthalt! Gastgeber, die sich mit unaufgeregter Freundlichkeit und Professionalität um die Gäste kümmern, schöne und bequeme Zimmer und ausgezeichnetes Essen, was will man/frau mehr!! Gerne jederzeit wieder!

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren zum Schifahren zu den Gessers. Es ist wie nach Hause kommen: Die ganze Familie ist immer unaufgeregt freundlich, besser gesagt herzlich. Die Zimmer - kürzlich neu gestaltet - sind gemütlich, alles aus der Küche schmeckt wunderbar. Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt, ist selbst schuld.
