カシュバ アイト ベン ダミエッテ(Kasbah Ait Ben Damiette)

Stayed here with family in Dec 2023. Stopped here overnight on the way to the desert…but in retrospect I wish we had stayed longer. The location is in the Skoura Palmeraie. And the location is surrounded by lovely local mud and stone houses and thousands of palms. The hotel itself is a little taller than the surroundings and affords lovely sunset views across the palmeraie. Our room was a large suite with atmospheric Moroccan styling. Everything was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. Only thing I could complain about is that the lighting could be a little brighter, but this was a problem across the many hotels in Morocco. The dinner and breakfast were both superb and our compliments to the chef. And also the service was absolutely impeccable, and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. I wish I had stayed here at a warmer time of year so that I could jump into that inviting pool. Overall, I really liked this spot…really lovely.

Beautiful location built in the traditional stile. Outstandingly nice and spacious rooms equiped with everything you need and more. Very friendly and helpful personel and very good food. Thank you for a great stay :-)

We stop here to break up our drive from Todra Gorge to Marrakech. Google map take us here with our rental car. The owner meet us at the parking lot. The entrance is thru an alley with the name of the hotel print on the side of the alley wall. It’s not like most hotel with a front entrance but still easy to locate. It’s clean and service is personable. Fatima make a sandwich for my wife’s lunch. An unesco Kasbah is nearby. Very quiet and relaxing during our stay. The hotel may not be full.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Exodus tour, and it was delightful. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished and the pool and gardens lovely and well cared for. The food - Moroccan with a french twist - was all freshly prepared, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! However, I can't thank the owners and staff enough as they went above & beyond when the earthquake struck on our 2nd night! Despite their own obvious distress they really looked after us - producing mattresses, sheets and blankets for us to sleep outside (in case of aftershocks) and yet still managed to produce a lovely breakfast for us in the morning!! If I ever return to Morocco I would certainly love to stay here again - and please don't let the earthquake put you off visiting this wonderful country as they need the continued support of tourism.....

The accommodation was fantastic , the service was excellent , the local knowledge awesome and most of all the hospitality . Great pool , great food - best sleep ever . Nice French wine too . Everything was amazing and would highly recommend this

Beautiful property in the quiet town of Skoura. We had an upper level room with a terrace and incredible sunset views. Pool area was pleasant. Staff were all very sweet. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Nice place to breakup the long drive from the desert to Marrakech.

Looking for a wonderful place to stay while in Skoura? Look no further than Kasbah Ait ben Damiette. The former Kasbah turned boutique hotel/riad was delightful! The owners, Erwann, Sophiee and their daughter, Odèna, with Salah and the entire staff ensured our every need was taken care of. The rooms are large, spacious, and airy. Upon arrival we were gifted a variety of rose scented bath products and the generosity didn’t stop there! Each meal - breakfast, lunch and dinner was deliciously and carefully prepared. We were treated to meals in different areas of the kasbah, its covered patio, small private dining room over looking the pool and the intimate garden. They have a curated list of both French and Moroccan wines. A dip in cool waters of the swimming pool was refreshing after touring Skoura’s 1000 palms and 40 kasbahs. The kids played in the water as we lounged with a bottle of wine, capping each day as the sun set on this beautiful riad! Need laundry service? They have that too. Soccer fan, concerned about the score of a big match? Don’t worry they’ve got that covered too! We cannot say enough about our stay at Kasbah Ait ben Damiette, they have made sure that we left refreshed and relaxed before continuing on our Moroccan journey.

The riad cancelled our FULLY PAID reservation. They did not give us any advance info and we only found out after we had driven 8 hours to get there. I had a confirmation and receipt showing full payment in advance. They said they sold our room to a group. The hotel did refund me but it was frustrating and we had to scramble to find another place to stay with no notice.

We stayed at this lovely Kasbah en route from Merzouga to Marrakesh. They have a lovely swimming pool which was much needed after long day and the car and exploring the Skoura gorges. and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was al fresco in their beautiful garden. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you need a stop between Merzouga and Marrakesh!
