Great place to stay with family . Abundant amenities and the afternoon tea is also a plus for this hotel .

Das Hotel hat ein unschlagbares Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und ein extrem freundliches Personal. Leider waren wir dort nur für eine Nacht, ein längerer Aufenthalt hätte Spaß gemacht. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und das Badezimmer hatte einen abgetrennten Bereich für Toilette und Dusche. Die Einrichtung des gesamten Hotels orientiert sich am Kolonialstil, wird aber noch veredelt mit einzelnen Skulpturen und Gemälden. Besonders wirkt das in der sehr gemackvoll gestalteten Hotellobby. Es gibt einen inklusiven Afternoon-Tea-Service auf dem Hoteldach beim Swimmingpool, wo man sich etwas entspannen kann. Darüber hinaus ist es sehr nah beim Bahnhof. Eine klare Empfehlung.

I didn’t know that this amazing place is new. Their amazing design filled with antiques and retro gallery is one of a kind making me think that this place is an old Indo-Dutch building. It felt like I hit the jackpot when I first arrived here. Totally recommend it to everyone who wants to come to Solo.

Great experience, great service, the staff always ready to help when in need, many choices of food on the breakfast buffet menu, the room is really clean and has a pretty good view (top floors). The afternoon tea was great, if you just checked in you can enjoy the afternoon tea.

Location is convenient, service is great, nice pool, and big rooms. I came with a big group and the staff are always trying to accommodate our requests. Walls are quite thin but still a comfortable stay regardless. Would recommend to stay..

The hotel has a good style and a good service, located in the center of the city. A modern take on a classical hotel. The room looked nice with the batik details on the wall. Unfortunately, the TV is still a conventional channel TV. It would be nice to add a smart/internet TV in the room.

It’s love at first sight with Mahalaya. The architecture & interior design is so pretty. I really love the hospitality also, they serve us very good & so friendly. All the foods & drinks are sooo tasty also! I had very good rest there.. A very good recommended hotel to stay in Solo.

Nice hotel with vintage ambience. Love to sit at the lounge while enjoying old song. Unfortunately the food at Paleis Restaurant need to be improved. The hotel near to Solo Balapan railway station. They provide drop off/ pick up service from/to airport/train station. Nearby there is Luwes Department store in which you can get stuff from the supermarket if you need something. Overall worth to stay.

The best modern-traditional hotel in Solo. The service was great. Everybody greeted us warmly. This was our second time staying in Mahalaya. The room is always clean and neat. Their location is perfect. We can reach any tourist attractions and Solo’s best restaurants within minutes. Their breakfast menus were various, unfortunately some of them were cold and bland, hopefully they can improve the food tastes in the future. During the stay, we were going with our babies and we had to keep our babies’ food in freezers, the staffs nicely offered us to keep it in theirs. This time we were going for my husband’s birthday trip. I told the staff if they could make any birthday decorations or else. They said they could not fulfill the request and offered us a slice of birthday cake. Surprisingly, the hotel also upgraded our room to their beautiful Junior Suite Room. Thank you Mahalaya hotel for the birthday present. Thank you for making our trip memorable. We definitely will come back to stay at Mahalaya again ❤️

Where to start, there were so many great things. First of all the staff were great! Friendly and very helpful. The hotel rooms were very comfy, clean, and had great esthetics. Breakfast was great, with a very indonesian cuisine. Overall our family liked it here, it felt homy, would def recommend.

All is perfect....you should try when you are in solo...very clean, quite hotel, good food, love wellcome drink tea...
