エコノ ロッジ ミリデール - サウシングトン(Econo Lodge Milldale - Southington)

We booked for an overnight stay. Our confirmation was for a king non-smoking room. Check in went uneventful. Our room was in a basement. As soon as we opened door to get to our room, the smell of cigarette smoke was strong. Our room was dusty, the tv was smeared with film and the bed was not made and several cigarette hole were on the comforter. Needless to say, we did not stay. Very disappointing. I have booked rooms online for years and this is the first time we have ever walked out. Website deceiving.

This lodge has been such a godsend when I have needed to get away!

TV not working in the Room I Had keep calling front desk to fix TV No one has came upstairs this is terrible say no reimbursement waste of money my wife didn't like the room

Hotel was dirty room had big hole in the wall.. wish I could get a refund.. left and went to another hotel

Our room was super hot when we got there. Took over an hour to cool down. Whatever disinfectant they had, the whole place smelled.

No stay!!! They were sold out and didn’t accept reservation!! I had to find another hotel! I want refund!!!

Room was clean. Didn't know they had lower level rooms, but luckily there was a side door to go out so i didn't have to go up and down the stairs. No elevator so it worked out. Staff was pleasant and housekeeping was extremely helpful. Only issue was the noise overhead. Sounded like they were dragging and dropping things on the floor.

Not only is this hotel dumpy, we could hear stomping and thumping ALL NIGHT LONG from room above us. At 1 am we called manager to have something done. He came to the room to 'listen for himself' then went up to speak to occupants. The next day, early again, banging continued. Apparently there was a family with 5 children, and the manager had been trying to reach them for 3 days. Why put 7 people in one room, and on the TOP FLOOR so people below have to hear that? I spoke to other people on my floor and they said they could hear it too.We left first thing in the morning and found a red roof inn a few miles away and it was so much better. Their continental breakfast didn't even have juice for kids, coffee only. Luckily there was a dunkin donuts next door. Parking lot is super suspicious, no benches or bbq or grassy area like in the pictures. manager unhelpful, kept dodging my calls once i returned home, until i got ********** involved. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. Go to the Red Roof instead. This was such a terrible stay, and really put everyone in a bad mood until we got to a better hotel. I can't say enough warnings about this place. One positive - one of the maids/ staff did get some orange juice for my kids, and was very apologetic for the noise and lack of sleep. The manager couldn't care less. Then he offered me a king size bed. How is that going to help unless we are not anywhere near that family of 7+ people? No thanks. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The property old had a smell to the whole place Not comfortable staying breakfast not good terrible coffee and powdered cream for coffee.
