Thank you for the stay. We were here for medical reasons. easy access to hospital, eating establishments and interstate.

Check in was great, friendly and helpful attendant. Room was just okay. We were close to the bar and the party went late....breakfast in the cafe was very good.

Just an overnight stay for a church visit in Springfield. The hotel is an interesting place for a history buff like me, but the cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Personally, I'd rather stay in my tent. I t would have been quieter. There was a loud party going on down the hall which didn't quiet down till 2 or 3 in the morning. So, I didn't get much sleep. Two or three hours at best. That being said, they have some nice relics on display.

It wasn't the Ritz Carlton but the staff made it worth it to stay there they were all very friendly and helpful with anything that I wanted or needed.

Staff was wonderful!!! Really enjoyed the bar area, can’t wait till the renovation are done and just need cigarette smoking u see co trol!! Can smell in non smoking rooms

The dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. The entire place reeked of cigarettes. The blankets had burn holes in them, the room had crumbs on the floor from the last patrons stay, almost every surface was sticky, their were stains of something dripping down the walls, unwashed stains on the blankets, the doors for the bathroom were so ungodly dirty, there were 2 chairs in the room that had at least 50 years of cigarette stains on them, pretty much anything that could go wrong was wrong. In the end they were nice enough to give us our money back, so I do appreciate that.

From the frist sight i said i want to stay there!!!! I love every thing above route 66. It has so much Memorabilia of Route 66. It's worth a stop. You believe you're not gonna stay overnight. They've got the best food ever in their restaurant breakfast. You order what you want at the menu we ordered stink eggs, hash Browns, toast and I ordered a side of French toast it was all free. I asked if they had the tee shirt to buy like the owner had on. There were some on display but that was it. After we finished checking in and having a great conversation he said take the tee shirt off the mannequin. I was so thankful and greatful. Then he gave me the Sweatshirt off the other mannequin!!! It was so overwhelming so kind and giving!!! I give Route 66 a 10 I will recommen It to everyone Im putting it on Facebook and going to tell all my family and friends!!! Thank you so much for all the wonderful time!!! Greatfully Gratefully Thankful Scoop And Patty and Maintenance man who is so fun to listen to he has so much knowledge he should go on Jeopardy!!! (He would definitely win 🏆!!! It felt like home right away. Thank you God for such a wonderful experience there. I didn't want to leave!!! Springfield Illinois Route 66 MUST MUST STAY!!! Tell everybody you know they wont regret it!!! Thanks for the wonderful time. P.S. The Maintenance man even delivered some items to us at midnight. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

Classic little hotel, with cool history. Did not expect much coming here, but was very satisfied with my stay.
