What a beautiful place to stay! The location is phenomenal, right in the heart of Lucca, everything you need is within short walking distance and its only 15mins from train station. I’ve travelled a lot and met some good hosts but Valentina tops them all, kind, warm and friendly and very helpful. She kept in touch each day to let me know what was on in Lucca and to make sure I was enjoying my time there. The views from the kitchen are beautiful (see pics) The apartment was very clean, (daily) nice decor and good amenities. I’ll be back to Lucca some day and will stay here again for sure.

Our stay at La Chiusa Delle Monache was truly special. The property feels like a beautiful home, full of charm and character. We stayed in the former horse’s house, thoughtfully transformed into a cozy and unique B&B—it was both comfortable and full of personality. This is a genuine family-run place, and you can feel it in every detail. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering insightful tips about the area that made our visit even better. The whole family—mom, dad, and everyone—helps run the place, creating a warm, homey atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade pastries from the mother’s recipe—absolutely delicious and easily my favorite part of the stay. As a thoughtful touch, she even gave us leftover pastries to take on the road, which we truly appreciated. A heartfelt experience from start to finish—very impressive and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in Lucca! Monica was super kind and welcoming. The room was excellent, with a beautiful view of the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro. Comfortable bed, very good shower, and air conditioning that made the stay even better. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Tip for future guests: park your car at Parcheggio Mazzini (near Porta Santa Maria). Grazie Monica! 🌟

Расположение в самом центре города - главное достоинство отеля. Были небольшие проблемы с заселением: администратор сообщил нам код для заезда только по прибытии, хотя оплата и онлайн регистрация были проведены заранее. Обычно после этих процедур присылают всю необходимую информацию. Но в Лукка шарм такого не случилось) Завтрак - кофе с бутером, либо 2 сладкими булочками в соседнем доме. Сам отель - бывшая квартира, в 2-х его номерах ванная комната (душ + туалет) находятся напротив спален, также есть номер с ванной. В доступности для гостей всегда есть пакетированный чай, капсульный кофе и кофемашина. В номере - холодильник и чайник.

Mooie kamers in een mooie villa ( eigenlijk meerdere villa’s ) op 15 min lopen van het centrum van Lucca en vriendelijke personeel. Goede ontbijt en eigen parkeerplaats. Ik zou deze accommodatie zeker aanraden

Finalmente un B&B dove funzionano a meraviglia entrambe le B e, in un mondo di improvvisati come quello attuale, non è cosa da poco. Ubicato appena fuori Lucca, facilissimo da raggiungere, offre un ampio parcheggio privato. La camera è spaziosa, ben arredata e il letto comodo. Il bagno è enorme e con set di cortesia. Pulizia encomiabile. La colazione è per una volta per davvero la seconda B: abituato a seducenti B&B che offrono al max prodotti da discount o un buono per il cappuccino al bar di fronte, qui diamo davanti ad un buffet ricco di torte fatte in casa, croissant freschi, caffetteria espressa e non manca il salato. Tanti gestori improvvisati dovrebbero venire a prendere appunti.

Excellent petit hôtel avec plein de charme et d’œuvre d’art partout dans les corridors.   Tous très de la basilique.    Les chanvre sont un peu petite mais c’est un bon compromis compte tenu de l’endroit et du prix.

Отличный аутентичный отель, если есть задача поселится в «маленькой» Италии недалеко от Пизы/Лукки. Номер был чистый, с интересными интерьерными элементами, столешница под раковину - старая швейная машина, все соответствует описанию и фотографиям
