The place is good for the price. The location is very close to the beach and restaurants, has a nice garden and pool, with lots of common areas to hang out in. The bed was comfortable and room decent with a nice balcony. They seem to only focus on cleaning the basics. I wish they’d clean a little bit deeper, and fix a couple of things because the place could be quite nice. There are some bugs - to be expected in a tropical, budget place but not too bad. Mainly there was lots of ants in the bathroom, and the walls aren’t properly sealed so it’s easy for the ants to get in. If they just did some very basic repairs, renovation and deep cleaning the place would be great. I’d still say it was good value for the location and I would stay there again if passing through Colombo.

Very nice hotel in city center. Rooms are big, very clean and all equipment are first class. Cleanliness level is very high in hotel and service is always great and friendly. Restaurant on top of the roof with city view is amazing, many tasty food options available. Breakfast is great also, many food options available. Many shops are close to hotel. Swimming pool on top of building is nice place hang out, you can see ocean and city from there.

値段の割に良いホテルです。部屋は清潔で、エアコンとバルコニーが付いています。ホテルは8階または9階建てでエレベーターがあり、とても便利です。近くに鉄道駅があり、海も徒歩圏内、通りにはショップやカフェが並んでいます。朝食に問題がありましたが、すぐに解決されました。したがって、有効にしていない場合は、事前に管理者に警告することをお勧めします。

The stayed at Lavinia Bay Beach Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly designed, offering a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view from the balcony with a sea view, which provided a perfect spot for relaxation. The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, with fresh ingredients and excellent presentation.But the pool has to be renovated and maintained.

I stayed there for a night and extended the stay for one more night. There's a kettle, water, glasses and cups, coffee and tea, a fridge, bottles of shampoo/conditioner and lotion. You can have breakfast on the sixth floor, and there's a great café called Grind nearby. Two supermarkets - Spar and another one - within 5-10 minutes on foot. The towels had tone cream spots on them, and they don't seem to clean every day (on the second day, i called to ask for some water and toiletries, but only got water). Besides, i heard the noise of the vacuum cleaner in the hall at 9:30 pm - i requested a quiet room and was trying to fall asleep, so that was disappointing.

We visited as a family of 7, including 2 kids. Chandana, the host, was very accommodating to our needs and went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. The place had a backpacker retreat type setting with Boho themes. The place is clean and well kept but appears to be a bit old, so expect the usual quirks of older homes. Parking is available for small cars only. Larger vehicles would need to park at the top of the cul-de-sac by the arterial lane. Overall, it was a positive experience.

このホテルはかつては豪華だったに違いないが、今はまあまあといったところだ。家具は古く、壁はみすぼらしく、照明スイッチなど、もう少し念入りに掃除した方が良い箇所もある。しかし、全体的な印象は良かった。朝食はボリューム満点で、ベッドと寝具は快適、そしてプールは実に素晴らしい。確かに、週末は地元の人たちが追加料金を払って泳ぎに来る。しかし平日は静かで穏やかで、スタッフに飲み物を頼むのにかなり時間がかかることもある。ホテルの近くには駅があり、電車が一日中運行しているので、日中はあまり眠れないだろう。ただし、夜は電車が走っていないので、睡眠を妨げるものは何もない。

Amazing location and friendly staff and clean rooms. Will be a added bonus if we can have Jaffna food Available all day from lunch time till midnight. Great experianca. Well done

ロケーションは良く、街の中心部にあります。部屋は普通で、ホテルはシャワーキャップ、石鹸、シャンプーを用意していませんでした。それ以外はすべて良かったです。短期滞在にのみお勧めします。ホテルで気に入ったのは、フレンドリーなスタッフと、近くにたくさんの食事ができるレストランがあることだけです。それ以外はすべて普通でした。
