Clean and friendly service. Very accommodating when we needed a ground floor room at the last minute. Location not close to anything walkable. Bathroom had doors that didn’t close and showing the need for maintenance. It’s a nice looking place but don’t look too close.

Nice warm welcoming at reception, nice clean room and the servicing of the room was spot on. The pool was kept nice and clean. Area is also nice and quiet. Tight parking, but well organised. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here

Some of the friendliest people we have ever met manage this Motel. They welcomed us with open arms and said how much they appreciated us staying with them. The room was upstairs, room 11 . It was a good size with a king size bed and a single. It was spotless with a well equipped kitchen . It had an oven, microwave and all the utensils you would ever need. A well stocked assortment of tea, coffee etc which was topped up every day. The shower had amazing water pressure with ample hot water. Towels were changed every day and the room was cleaned and bed made. Sky tv was a bonus for us as we do not have this at home. There is a small swimming pool if you want to take the plunge which appeared to be solar heated. Allocated parking meant you always had a spot outside your room. The motel was in a good location 10 min from the city and easy to find. It is close to the beach and eateries. This well priced Motel is worth the visit, we stayed three nights and would not hesitate in staying again.

The owners are some of the nicest people you could meet so I don’t really want to say anything negative but I feel I should mention when we were staying the road outside was closed for access from 8:45 to 1pm for an event We should have been told this at booking not when checking in Also it is directly under the local airport Some noise but for fly late and first noise around 7am but soon passes Rooms spotless and no apparent noise from neighbours Despite my negative comments I would use again

This was such a great little family owned motel. Spotlessly clean, laundry facilities, small pool, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen. The owner is such a wonderful host, friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn’t be happier with our stay. We would highly recommend this motel.

100% recommend. We stayed as a group to attend a leisure marching function in Nelson. Amazing motels, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds, spacious. Fantastic shower best I've personally come across. Kitchen extemely well equiped with full size oven and large fridge-freezer. Friendly owners and so obliging. Great swimming pool and BBQ area. Pool heated. Very close to eateries and the beautiful Tahunanui Beach. We didnt want to leave! 3rd time staying here and will certainly be back again.

Very clean motels, located within easy walking distance to the beach, shops, plus many food outlets. The hosts are incredibly friendly and obliging - our team made very good use of the heated swimming pool, plus the bbq facilities. We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.
