Im here on business working. Noticed the shower had very poor water pressure and the tub dose not drain. Went to the front desk asked them if they could have maintenance look at and fix it. Yes the young lady at the front dest was very very nice and offered to switch me rooms but i have alot and that was the last thing I wanted or should have to switch rooms after working 12 hour days. I mean you walk around youll see electrical boxes on the out side of the hotel taped up with electrical tape so much easier to put a screw in. But I guess the maintenance guy works when ever he wants you can see it . Housekeeping lmao had them clean the room what a joke. Bed was made like a first grader made it. Tale a white towel to the floor the towel turned black but they want to charge $109 and up for rooms. Sister hotel Days Inn same thing not pet friendly nasty ran down. Hick Wydram is allowing these hotels to get ran down but they want to charge us top dollar and cant give you what you pay for. Management and Maintenance and hosekeeping to be looked and a probatipn time frame because both places it was very very very very poor. All most like its a joke. Front desk customer service awsome at this hotel. Days in everything was a joke . Wydram is allowing there hotels To go into the dumps I have asked three days for a new shower head. Hick I would do better with a bucket and hose. Just be in a tent. The Young lady at the desk very very nice not her fault great customer service hamds down.
My only concern was some of the surrounding area. I arrived 1 way, but left a different way. Safety was my only concern. However, when driving through the town, it was rather quaint. I do love learning the history of the towns. I would definatly go again.
The awful room smell!! Even in the sheets. It is really too bad because the front desk people are nice, the breakfast is not bad, and the property is way off the busy main road..Even so, we would never return because of the terrible room smell! Many other reviews had the same comment.
Staff was super but this hotel definitely has issues with housekeeping. The common areas were not vacuumed and when we checked in our first room, the bathroom counter was very visibly dirty and the shower stall as well. The bedskirt was ripped about 8 inches and should’ve been replaced. This was a late night check in, and we were exhausted, and I was overwhelmed by having to go to a different room. They moved us to another room which was clean but one of the lamps was out by the bed so we had to change our own lightbulb & areas around the nightstands were not vacuumed, and there was an odor like someone had been vaping in the room or very strong cleaner odor. We were so tired we decided just to stay in this room and not have to move rooms again.
Stayed in a one bedroom ”suite” with the most disgusting bath/ shower. When I complained/ asked for a new room, I was told that all the baths are the same because Auburn has hard water, so they just paint over the rust... If this is what the bath in a suite looks like, I would hate to see the other rooms.
Lovely and clean new hotel, great breakfast, my kids loved the pool. The bathroom was my favorite, great shower and there were actually towel bars and hooks (which is almost non-existent in hotels these days). The lady on staff (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was incredibly helpful and welcoming. My only quibble is there is only one elevator which is pretty slow.
HHappier-at-homeOur suite was very nice -- almost unscented, comfortable, quiet, refrigerator and microwave, and no problems at all. Except, the AC was set at 68 degrees, which is insane and pretty indefensible in empty rooms. Staff people were competent and nice. Many people have already mentioned the meh breakfast and this is true, but I had eggs and sausage both days and it was good enough. I personally love having no maid service so I appreciated that being the norm (on weekends anyway).

Kkia277We stopped here on a cross-country trip from upper Maine to Washington. The room was very noisy: we heard everyone above us and outside our door. Worse, our room was located behind the outside stairs so we heard everyone clomping up and down stairs. A staff person was very rude to my husband when he was walking our dog, saying that we had not informed them that we had a pet (we had, and were charged $20 at check-in and ANOTHER $20 a day later). She also said that dogs are only allowed in the back of the property but there are no signs to that effect. The room seemed clean and was well-lit: that's the best I can say for it!
