It was a great stay at another @RedDoorz room :-) The room was big and well appointed. It was clean and cool - I mean Cold (great AC) Internet was above average for most hotels in the Subic area.
Parking was easy and the location was quite but not remote. SBMA was a short drive away (really easy) and the rest of downtown Olongapo was a good distance by walk or drive. Really great.

I my family and I rented three rooms here in December 2022. Two rooms with a king size bed and one room with two queen size beds. All rooms had spectacular views from their private balconies. The Wi-Fi connection was not strong in one of our rooms but the staff promptly moved us into a new room. We especially enjoyed how the hotel offers massages in the room. The beach was rocky but the view was unbeatable. The breakfast in the morning was great and cost friendly and the dinner in the evening was even more cost friendly and so tasty. We can’t wait to return here during our next trip to Subic!
One of the worst stays I have ever experienced in a supposed resort. Firstly paid over ₱7000 for a room to fit 3 adults and a kid. The room was very tired, not very clean, tv did not work properly and very basic in amenities. Not worth with the price! The overall resort is very tired. It needs a major refurbishment. Paint is peeling, large cracks in the building, garden returning to jungle etc! Staff are not at all friendly or flexible. Arrrived with our family at 12pm after a long drive. Requested an early check in. Advised they are just cleaning the room now. I said that is great can you advise how long until will be ready. The reply you can not access it until 2pm at the earliest. Wow. Thanks. The free breakfast is average basic Filipino style breakfast food. It is a buffet format only 7am to 9am. Very limited hours for a supposed resort. Also requested if we could just take. plate to our room (literally a minute from where the food is served) to be told no not possible. The location is average. On a busy highway. Not sure where they get Waterfront for the name of the hotel as the only water close by is the run down pool with a run down bar. The bar has chairs that look like they have been recycled from a trash site. The bar staff did not know how to make basic cocktails and constantly referred to a 'menu' with the expected result being average overpriced drinks. The final and worst part of this once in a life experience was the check out process. We went to check out around 11.15am well before the noon requirement. After handing in the keys and and the deposit slip for the ₱1000 to be returned in full (we did not consume anything in the room) I just stood there for about 10 mins. I asked why the delay. Advised housekeeping was checking the room. Ok so I sat down. After another 20 mins chased them. Finally advised they would be keeping my deposit because of supposed stain on pillow case and sheet. We were invited to inspect the linen. First, the pillow case was like this whern we arrived! Second, the small dirt marks on the sheet were not stains at all and clearly would be cleaned in a standard wash.! After my wife argued the ridiculous of the accusation and the ridiculous of not getting a tiny bit of dirt out in a standard wash we were finally given our deposit in full. This I expect was a scam attempt to falsely pocket our deposit. The whole check out experience took over 45 mins and was embarrassing in that the false accusations were directed at us in front of other customers. If there is one resort/hotel to avoid this is it! If you are crazy enough to stay there now you now only have your self to blame!

ゲゲストI dont understand the good reviews. Maybe it depends on a not so high standard. Of youre that, then go ahead. But if your not, continue reading. First. This hotel does not have it's own website so cancellation will be a hell. The phone numbers jn the website do not work. ***? The hotel concierge will be of no help. They will only say, it's a third party reservation and they cant do anything about it. (Maybe if the hotel has it's own booking website, them maybe you can help their customers!) So if you want to be hassled just to cancel, if thats youre thing then this hotel is for you. Goodluck with that. Second. The cheap rate is a bait because in reality, they will have additional P2k charge. So Be careful when booking online because the real rate is at the bottom of the webpage way after the 'continue with reservation' button! So chances are, you will clikc the 'continue with reservation button' thinking that youre just paying the bait cheap price because before that button, no other rates are mentioned! I fell victim and it's my fault. Im not used to cheap tricks like this specially when Marriott never pulled one on me. Great. Had i known i will pay much more then i should have booked in a much much better hotel. Oh wait. I cant cancel because cancellation is just gonna be a hassle. Third. The room is dated and needs alot of TLC if not a total reno. They should include the disclaimer-objects in the picture appear much better than they are in real life) , There are a lot of better hotels for better prices and services so please, scout for other hotels in subic. For the price i paid. It didnt even include a breakfast buffet but what the heck, i dont even want to be seen in this hotel.
AAculeusLet’s start with the good. 1) all the staff are helpful and friendly. 2) the location is good if you need to be near the boardwalk. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. 3) the restaurant beside the hotel serves really good Korean food. Reasonably priced too. The bad? I’m not sure if I just got the worst room or if all the rooms have the same issues but here goes:1) the bathroom is dark and the water supply is weak. They have a pail and tabo (water dipper) in the shower as a back up which only means that management knows about the problem but does not want to invest in a stronger water supply system. 2) the linen had holes and tears from cigarette burns and goodness knows what else. The pillows are lumpy too. 3) the airconditioner was noisy AND weak.It was so hot I slept with my shirt off. 4) the doorknob was loose and the door kept catching on the floor. 5) spotty WiFi. 6) the neighbouring establishment has a live band. If you are a light sleeper, good luck going to bed before 11 pm. Honestly, the only redeeming value this hotel has are the employees. There are much newer and probably better maintained hotels in the area.
