We were there together with my girlfriends to celebrate my soon-to-be sister-in-law's bachelorette party. She asked to have a wellness weekend instead of a girl's night out party evening. The staff of the hotel is super kind and very caring. The way how we were treated made a deep impression on us. As the hotel staff was informed that we are there to have a celebration, there was a fruit and cake plate with a cooled bottle of champagne in our suite. The rooms are very clean and fresh, every morning while were out to have breakfast our rooms were already cleaned up and fulfilled with new toiletries. The wellness area's staff is very professional and the area itself deserves more than 4 stars! They're cleaning out everything every 15 mins. My biggest concern is usually the slippery floor. Thank God, thanks to the great staff's hard work I had no issues with it. The towels have a fresh scent, and you cannot feel that certain smell that I hate, and what usually the wellness areas are having due to the humidity. The breakfast and the dinner were just fantastic! The selection of food and the desert assortment is super yummy! For me personally, the size of the tea mug meant the world! Usually, at the hotels, the size of the mugs for tea is miserably small, but not here! The temperature of the served courses was just fine and always filled. Thanks to the older waiter, Mr. Miklos, we felt like queens. The way how he treated us and the way how he advised the wine to our meals made an extra experience. I wish every hotel has its own Mr. Miklos! Last, but not least, the Szalajka valley is a great place for hiking and enjoy the beauty of nature. We were lucky enough to hear the deer rutting in the late evening and the twittering of the forest birds early morning. I recommend the place to everyone who wants to experience relaxing wellness, soul-refreshing, and mind-blowing zen, to escape everyday stress.
