I never met the previous owners, but Gregg and Hollie are incredible hosts and are doing a fantastic job renovating. The place looked so different when I left compared to my arrival. Very clean rooms very friendly staff. Bargain Stay ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have stayed here a few times and now under new ownership with Gregg and Hollie . Great hospitality and couldn’t help us enough. They have arranged breakfast at the local golf club with 10% off your bills for food and drinks. We went down there and a great place for food or drinks they only do breakfast and lunch. Will definitely be returning to the Golden Fleece in the future.

My daughter and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending a wedding nearby. Room very clean and all accessories you need. Lovely and quiet, beautiful surroundings. Breakfast is great, which we ordered the night before, you can eat in your room or go to the lounge if you prefer. Food was pretty much ready at our specified time. Carol is a great host!

We had a one night stay as we were attending a car trial in Crewkerne over the weekend. Easy check in via email and text messages, the room was huge, lovely and clean, plenty of hot water, also a fan in the wardrobe which was needed last weekend!! A hair dryer in the drawer with plenty of tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate sachets and biscuits, top quality toiletries in the bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, soap, shower caps and a makeup remover flannel (if needed). We ordered our breakfast the night before as we had an early start at the trial on the Sunday and opted for Al Fresco dining eating out on the patio, the breakfast was cooked to order and was amazing!! Good quality bacon, sausage, mushrooms, eggs, baked beans and we opted for fried bread too..... Carol is a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly. Such a great find for us and we will return next year when we are competing again at Crewkerne

An absolute pleasure to stay at this venue.The room was clean and welcoming and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was great and lots of it! Above all though it was Carol our host who really made our stay.She couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. She washed my partner’s trousers and put them through the tu blue drier then dropped them off at the door if our room! We asked for milk at 9.30 at night( a bit naughty time wise ai know ) and she gave us a thermos of milk straight away.Extra tea and coffee for our room? No problem! All in all a fantastic stay thank you Carol. Richard and Symon from Nailsworth Gloucestershire.

We were in the area to perform at the local Warners Hotel. So I booked the Golden Fleece for it's convenient location. However, it's proved to be one of our very best ever B&B experiences and trust me, we've stayed at a lot. Clean room, large bed, quality towels & linens plus an amazing breakfast delivered to our suntrap terrace. I cannot recommend this place enough. Many thanks Carol & Kelly

We stayed here at the weekend as we visited the area for our Wedding Anniversary. We were able to bring our dog which was great, there is a paddock to exercise dogs in. The place is lovely and clean and the bed was really comfy. Everything you need is provided and there's a simple check in procedure, you don't even have to see anyone it's all done by email and text message. The breakfast was delicious and such a vast choice. The hosts couldn't have done more for us and were very friendly. We will definitely be visiting again.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Golden Fleece and can't find 1 single fault, perfect location for the South Coast and countryside in Somerset, Devon and Dorset. Breakfast was extremely good and with best home made granola ever. Accommodation was excellent, every thing there that you needed, spotlessly clean and hosts were very helpful and friendly, definitely return.

We stayed one night and wished it had been more. The rooms are a great size with a bed so large that you could get lost in it! It is such a joy to sit on the patio/terrace and look out over fields. Even though the road can get busy there was no traffic noise. The breakfast was fab, it set us up for a long day of travelling We were made to feel so welcome by everyone and we will be coming back again
