ホテル デ オリヴィエ(Hotel des Oliviers)

Small hotel in the towncenter. Not luxery but high quality compared to a very reasonable price. Fine breakfast. Park at Parkering Turenne. Many different restaurants close to the hotel. We use the hotel for a stop-over when we are driving between Denmark and southern France.

Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are always very clean, although very functional. Breakfast is good and at a reasonable price. It is located at the very heart of Thionville, at walking distance to the train station and many restaurants

We certainly recommend the place and will stop at Hotel Les Oliviers in the future! The location is excellent! The value (ratio price/comfort) is excellent. The bedroom was nice and the sleep quality was perfect. Only positive... maybe with one exception, a bath without handles to ensure safety and comfort.

Well located in center of pedestrian district. Very pleasant welcome. My room was small but comfortable, super clean, well appointed and quiet. Good wi-fi. Buffet breakfast is good value. There's a pleasant courtyard garden to relax or eat breakfast in. Two things to keep in mind: the closest parking is about a 3 minute walk and the hotel is four floors without elevator. So don't come here with awkward luggage. And there's no a/c. That's generally not a problem in Northern France, but these days you never know (the rooms do have fans and that's all I needed during a late July stay). All in all, this hotel is very good value.

The hotel couldn't have been better placed, not far off the motorway and situated in the centre of the town. The hosts were excellent and couldn't have been nicer. There is a public car park within 2mins of the hotel and is fairly priced, it only cost us €3.70 for the night. The rooms are clean and there is shower gel and soap provided. When you leave the hotel there are plenty of bars, restaurants and takeaways within minutes which cater for most needs. The breakfast provided, chargeable, has a range of pastries, fruits and drinks and is an excellent start to the day. We enjoyed both times that we stayed to break up our journey, and we would definitely stay again.

Hotel absolutely worth to reccomend for a few days stay in Thionville. Close to food market on Saturday and to restaurants. Rooms although not modern have their a**osphere. Unfortunately no coffee or tee service in the rooms

Good placement, no air conditioner and elevator. Weather was fine so wasn’t need air conditioner. Each day cleaning and changing towels. A little noisy at evening. Very clean. Overall I recommend this hotel.

Located in a 4 storey building, the hotel occupies the top 3 floors but there is no lift. The staircase is narrow and winding so I wouldn't recommend this for the elderly or with mobility problems. While dated the hotel is clean and comfortable and there is a small garden area where you can eat breakfast or relax. Various restaurants and bars within 5 mins walk, train station and free parking 10 mins walk. All the staff are very friendly and efficient. The town doesn't have anything of interest but convenient as a stopover if driving on or to visit Luxembourg by train, 30 mins journey €7 return.
