A group of more than 30 of us stayed in Renvyle House for a family reunion and it could not have been more perfect. The staff made our weekend really special and truly made us feel as though they were part of our family! From the word "go" staff ensured we were extremely well looked after. They took the time to ensure that my (extremely fussy) grandparents would enjoy the menu, they ensured that an uncle could watch a rugby game he was eager to see and they had such helpful suggestions for things to do in the local area or in the gorgeous grounds. The food was spectacular and almost a month later, everyone is still talking about it, including my picky grandparents! Staff were well informed about where everything came from and as far as I'm aware the kitchen only uses local and organic produce. Any dietary requests were handled masterfully and they even made sure that the vegan options aligned with what everyone else was eating. Cannot say enough about what a wonderful time we had here and am eagerly looking forward to our next visit!

Incredible views from the rooms of this hotel, watching the sunset over the Atlantic was just simply breathtaking. The rooms are well furnished and very comfortable, free water in abundance. Dinner in the bar was a simple and tasty affair and the breakfast in the morning couldn't be faulted. One particular mention to Peter on the staff, he went out of his way to be helpful and courteous, a great ambassador for the hotel

We love it here and that is why we keep going back. Every time we have visited Renvyle House it has been a slightly different experience. This time it was wonderful and we really enjoyed it so much. We usually eat dinner in the dining room but this time we opted for the bar food as the fine dining doesn’t have a great choice. Amazingly enough we loved the Bar food ,and there was so much to choose from. My husband had the Cod and chips with salad which he enjoyed very much and l had the Beef sandwich with onions and mushrooms chips and salad. Delicious. There were also a variety of desserts like sticky toffee pudding Apple crumble and the like which is very lacking in the main Dining Room. I never liked their desserts. I reckon we will stick to the Bar food in future. Lovely walks around the Hotel and spectacular views. The service at breakfast was spot on ,and a huge improvement on previous visits. Plenty of variety and good cooked breakfast. Room clean and bed so comfortable.Sabina at the reception was so courteous and helpful. It makes a big difference who you deal, with and l found Sabina to be really lovely. I remember her from before because of this. Thankyou Sabina. All in all a very pleasant stay at Renvyle House.

We spent two nights at Renvyle House Hotel, it was amazing! The property is just beautiful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Anne Marie, the general manager was very friendly and took the time to get to know us. The breakfast each morning was delicious and we ate a couple of meals in the bar and both were great! We will definitely, be back for another visit in the future!

Renvyle House would definitely be on my list of top ten hotels ever. Tucked away on a secluded peninsula in Connemara, it is full of quirky character and interesting features. The food was excellent and the staff impossible to fault. We can’t wait to visit again, but next time for longer!

We had a nice one night stay at Renveyle. Perfect location for visiting Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park. Very relaxing stay, enjoying Irish hospitality and scenery. The food was pretty good- we had dinner and breakfast. Hot tub was lukewarm warm so we didn’t use it.

We were last here in early January, as part of my slow recovery from serious illness in late 2023, and having progressed a bit health-wise since then, we couldn't resist coming back again this April. As ever, Renvyle House has a long list of seductive features : start with its stunning location & its range of facilities, move-on to its comfortable Rooms & Public Areas, and savour the mouth-watering quality of its Food Offering. Above all, appreciate - as we do - the competence, attentiveness + (especially) the warmth of the regular Staff : renewed thanks to the outstanding General Manager, Anne Marie, the equally wonderful Front-Office Manager, Sabina, her cheerful colleague Róisín, the low-key, extremely hard-working Housekeeping Supervisor, Majella, the conscientious Restaurant Manager, Tomás, the very clued-in Bar Supervisor Tommy and others besides. Two Health & Safety related issues worth mentioning, both reflecting the absolute commitment of this Hotel to the care of its Guests. For part of our most recent stay, there were severe wind/gale warnings from Met Éireann, and Renvyle intermittently operated its own Generator. The other issue has more sinister origins. Apparently, a recent (distinctively-accented) Guest Couple strongly objected to the Hotel's display of the Flag of the RNLI (the Lifeboat Institute, which has saved so many lives on Ireland's coasts) because of the word "Royal" in their title, and sadly, the Hotel felt impelled to cease to display this Flag, out of fear for the future safety of the Hotel & its Guests : Go bhfóire Dia orainn - have we not grown-up yet ? Oh, and YES : we've booked yet another stay @ Renvyle for late May....

We had a wonderful stay at the Renvyle House Hotel. Beautiful grounds, excellent service and great location! Very family friendly.
