A hidden gem in Valencia. Very centrally located. Walking distance around the major touristic spots. It is in a private building. Very secure with code to enter the building and then the hotel itself. The hotel is kind of like low-key about six rooms, but the rooms are very spacious and clean and modern with very comfortable, king-size beds and clean sheets clean towels and hot water. The staff is very friendly. It is not staffed all day, but if you’re just visiting the city for tourism and seeing the sites this is a perfect spot to stay if you don’t care about hotel amenities. Extremely reasonably priced, actually very cheap per American standards. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to see the city on foot and have a clean room at a decent price!

I would highly recommend staying in this amazing boutique hotel, which is in the heart of Valencia, still quiet and very charming. Africa and Sergio - the best Reception staff I've ever met. They were so friendly and helped me to find the best way to get to Altea. I love Valencia even more after meeting Africa and Sergio. They are the real Grail of Valencia.

This hotel is right in the heart of the Old Town of Valencia and couldnt be better situated. Its a very small boutique style hotel but delivers comfort and style for a great price. We were looked after by Sergio extremely well and enjoyed our stay. Given the opportunity we would stay again and certainly recommend to family and friends.

Stayed 4 nights recently in this B&B and would thoroughly recommend it. Very reasonably priced with comfortable rooms and lovely breakfasts which are individually and freshly prepared. Additional significant benefit is its location, less than 1 minute's walk from Plaza de la Reina. Would definitely stay here if back in Valencia.

We arrived after 1:30 pm, so we were given instructions on how to reach our room. Very easy to follow, no problems. The room was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. Shower very large. We did have an issue with water from the shower going onto the bathroom floor. Not sure what the solution is. We very much liked having access to a refrigerator and microwave in the breakfast area of the B&B.. Africa was very helpful answering all of our questions about Valencia. The breakfast each day was delicious! Looking forward to returning next year.

We’ll placed location in Valencia, staff is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are large for European hotels. Balcony over looking the Main Street was awesome! Breakfast was prepared individually for each guest, nice idea! Not your typical buffet!

This place made our vacation perfect! The room was so comfortable (we were traveling with 2 young kids). The room even had a cupboard full of toys for the kids which kept them busy. It is very central and surrounded by restaurants, shops and piazzas. The hosts were so patient and helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast each morning for our family which was a group of 7 people plus 2 infants. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a memorable holiday!

My wife and I enjoyed 4 nights staying here. It really is perfectly positioned to enjoy the historic centre, our room (Xenea) was lovely, original features and a 4.4m high ceiling. Africa and Sergio are perfect hosts and a different variety of breakfast was provided each day. The highlight being the quails eggs on toast with ham and rocket. And finally, L’Esplai is great value too.

We stayed for 3 nights with another couple at this beautiful B&B. We had a beautiful suite with double bed, clean, spacious and nicely decorated.Great location: steps away from the cathedral in the heart of the historic city center where you can walk to nearly all top attractions. Africa is a great host and makes you feel at home. Excellent breakfast: healthy and varying each day! Efficient check-in and check-out. We could leave our luggage the last day till late afternoon. Excellent value!
