If you want to truly experience Trieste in the right location and with style then this is the place. A small perfectly built Palace run by staff who care about their guests. There is absolutely everything you need here. I arrived late at night and when I walked out onto the breakfast room the following room found myself saying wow at the view on the stunning Piazza. I choose this hotel because I had always wanted to stay there in Trieste, I did return for a second stay and I would stay there again. You are close to the sea, the historical centre, numerous bars and restaurants, shopping and tourist hotspots. The rooms are lovely, majestically clean. Breakfast are a relaxing experience you do not want to hurry because why would you with that view around you. The bar is the place to be throughout the day and also acts as an informal restaurant throughout the day. Formal is also available but that was not my choice. Rooms were large comfortable and very clean with the best amenities provided. Book your stay, you know you want to!

The hotel is very well kept and located right in the heart of Trieste's Piazza della Unita. Fantastic noise insulation and service. Excellent for both business (which was my case) and leisure.

Horrible experience with Grand Hotel Duchi D'Aosta! Be very careful with your credit/debit card! When I booked this hotel over the phone with their reservation department they asked me for mine credit card just for the security reasons. Even before we came to the hotel they have deduct the money from mine card, plus we have paid our rooms when we were leaving the hotel (we had two rooms for two nights), twelve days later they still didn't pay the money into my account. Beside the problem with taking the money without my permission they told me one rate per room per night over the phone and different when they send me an email. The rooms on 4th floor are absolutely horrible, we were in room 401 and our friends in 402. Be advise that there isn't internet on the entire 4th floor, no warm water, and during the night you will hear the heating system or A/C when ever is someone turning the heating or A/C on and off, such a loud noise above 4th floor that you won't be able to sleep like ourselves. Having said all of this above, will never ever go back there, shame on their bad business model by tricking the guests. We are contacting the local lawyer office due to problem with the money they have taken without permission and keeping them for two weeks now.

Great hotel with staff members that went above and beyond to make it a weekend to remember. Cannot recommend enough!

I would highly recommend the hotel. Great location, excellent staff, modern well appointed room and resonable price for the quality of the property. Other than breakfast or the bar avoid Harry's.

The confort, attention and kindness provided by the hotel and its staff were perfect - just what we needed after visiting such a beautiful city under a not so perfect weather.

The location is excellent, and the staff are very helpful and charming, the hotel itself is good ,but shop around you may be able to get better value somewhere else. Information on places to visit can be obtained from the nearby tourist office.

This was my first time in this hotel. And first of all, I was amazed by the property. It is so classy and so elegant. I enjoyed the room and the view. But I must say that all stuff was amazing. Front desk, vallet, restaurant staf, they all made our stay qmazing. I would recommend this hotel always and to everyone if staying in Trieste.
