Hello and welcome to my review. While we didn't use all of the amenities, this can still serve to help you make an informed decision. We checked in about 830 on a Friday night prior to the NAS Oceana Airshow. We were welcomed by Izzy at the front desk. She was extremely sweet and helpful. When she found out there were children in my travel party, she gave them each a nylon drawstring bag with a snack, coloring book, and crayons. We were on the 18th floor and best I can tell, there were four rooms, broken into suite A and B so they can be combined. We didn't hear any noise on the floor at all. The bathroom had plenty of towels and the tub was quite deep. The room had a microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, and coffee maker. A definite plus was the fact there was actual silverware and plates. Most places with that size only provide plastic and paper utensils. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but the bed didn't seem to be long enough. I'm 5'11 and my feet hung just over the bed. Additionally, the room did seem a little small to me as well. The downside in our room was that the A/C sounded like a jet engine spooling up and once running, sounded like an inbound helicopter. I cannot say if that is common across all rooms. This hotel does not offer free breakfast but there are plenty of places to eat right there along Virginia Beach, While parking is part of your resort fee, the garage is one block away. As I said, we didn't use any amenities, so I have no idea how the pools and fitness center are. All in all, the hotel is clean, it's on the beach, and the staff is friendly. I hope that helps.
Celebrated the wedding of my daughter this past weekend and the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort venue could not have been more perfect! The planning commenced 10 months ago, and working with Joslyn, the Director of Weddings, was an incredibly positive experience. She is the consummate professional, deftly handling the multitude of details and challenges with total enthusiasm and expert care. The Presidential Suite served was an incredible setting as our central hospitality gathering site for family and friends throughout the 4-day extravaganza. Special shoutout to our housekeeper Patricia who kept up with the daily aftermath, and Eric the bellman who skillfully hauled multiple loads of luggage, food, beverages, supplies, and other miscellaneous wedding accoutrements. The onsite restaurants were equally highly rated by everyone in attendance. This property is truly fantastic in every measurable aspect!
Dirty, dingy, dark, and dumpy. I cannot believe how dark and dirty the rooms are. The wall above the bed was covered in dust. The blankets looked old and filthy. There are no overhead lights and no floor lamps in the bedroom - just bedside reading lights - so we needed to use our phone flashlights to unpack. The carpet is ripped, the toilet flooded out of the tank on day 2 from normal usage. This hotel clearly cheapens out on everything. When we checked in, I asked for the sofa bed to made up and the receptionist handed me blankets and said I needed to do it myself, there was no one to do it. Then she told us we needed to walk through an unsafe, un-manned garage to access our room. We booked a one bedroom for our family of 4, and disappointed to see there was no door on the bedroom. Or the bathroom. So much for privacy. To me, no door = no bedroom. The pool was fine, as pictured. Restaurant was passable for a hotel bistro. Only nice feature here is the pool. We come every year to see family late September, and have stayed at four other hotels at Virginia Beach. We would never recommend this one and won’t be staying here again. Dark and disgusting.
This is a brand new property. So everything was clean and fresh and new. I was very impressed by our stay. The room had standard amenities. The beds were cozy with clean crisp sheets. My daughter and I both loved the shower. It had a fridge and microwave and real plates and cups, silverware too. Had dishwasher as I’m sure some people do stay longer than one night. An interesting space with a curtain divider between sitting/work area and beds. Breakfast was what I expect from Hilton properties. Real plates here too. Angela was wonderful in the morning, she really made our morning. I was enjoying some peace and coffee while the teenager slept, we chatted a minute or two and then both went about our morning, when teenager was awake and hangry and came done for breakfast she remembered us. It’s these little things that make me love staying at Hilton properties. Check in and out was a breeze and while I did speak with a young lady and a young man on our way out I do not remember their names but they were both very friendly. While I don’t get to Virginia often as we only came for a concert if I ever come this way again I will definitely stay here.
I was here on a business trip and Ivenia with the front desk was amazing. She made the process really simple and was very knowledgeable about her job. She was very professional and made me feel welcome. 10 out of 10 would stay again. Please hire more like her

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was within walking distance to shopping and places to eat. The staff was courteous, especially Cindy who was a breath of fresh air every morning with her friendly personality and great customer service. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you're planning to visit Virginia Beach.
This hotel is awesome but the amenities aren't as great as the people. I wish I could name everyone but I can't remember everyone. Justin and Kevin in valet along with others. Victoria at front desk and supergirl Emily (she's crazy yall...in a good way). Entire Belvedere crew. Thanks to Sasha and her team for running a great property! Also, the best and most unique hotel ambiance ever. (Best hotel gym) We're excited to come back.
The hotel was clean and presentable. The room was clean. The A/C struggled to keep the room cool, but was successful enough at night where we were able to sleep comfortably. I have 2 issues with the room. Why on earth are hotels using double beds still. 2 kids can sleep on them fine, but 2 adults it gets pretty tight, especially if you are on the bigger side. Wasn’t an issue for us, but an observation. The other is, not enough storage. Just one small item with 2 drawers for your clothes. There is more than enough room for 2 queen beds, a sleeper sofa and a real dresser or Chest in the room. So if you are staying for more than a couple nights, be prepared to live out of suitcases. Staff was friendly and actually paid attention to you. Indoor pool looked nice, and beachfront rooms are awesome overall. Close access to the beach and a good coffee shop is just a few steps out of the front door. Cactus jacks is recommended to eat dinner just down the street a bit.
ゲゲストThe team at the front desk was very welcoming upon our arrival. Though obviously older, our room was nice and clean. The view was fabulous, as we had a full oceanfront view. Access to the beach was right outside the back door. The room has a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was decent and more than simple “continental style”. There were egg frittatas, home style breakfast potatoes, sausage patties and of course a make your own waffle station with lots of toppings, various breakfast pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit cocktail, fresh fruit options and a few juice options as well. We were close to the pier and lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Currently, floors 6-10 are already renovated and they cost more; maybe worth it. It took some effort to get/keep our room as cool as we like it. Overall, I would stay here again.
SStar NFALSE ADVERTISEMENT! It looks beautiful from the online pictures but once you get there....it's bad. The locks are all broken, door handles are jiggly, beds are hard as a rock, balcony is questionable, the elevator is terrible and super hot, parking sucks, smell is bad, and there's so much more I could list. They don't offer refunds if you get there and decide it's not the place for you. You're essentially stuck there unless you want to lose your money and leave. ONE car per room (not multi-family friendly). Stairwell is falling apart. Housekeeping is lacking. Never gave us towels, blankets, sheets, standing water in the stairwells to slip on, pee stains on mattresses, human urine inside stairwell, exposed insulation, broken sheetrock, outlets falling out of walls, upsidedown faucets, dirty walls, etc. The ONLY positives are the night guy is super nice and the view is nice, but that's it. I will NEVER recommend this place nor will I ever stay here again no matter how cheap it is. Felt really unsafe here. Pay the extra $100-$200 to stay elsewhere. To top it off, their terribly small, weird elevator broke down with people in it so we had to carry all of our stuff from the 7th floor to the bottom by the 11am checkout time. Nobody to help out either. So handicapped people above the 1st floor were stranded for who knows how long. I will put this review on every single website I can. We tried to get some sort of refund THE DAY we got there because of how disgusted we were, but management refused to work with us even after we contaced our booking website. The nice night guy gave us a room that wasn't completely falling apart..but we had to switch rooms twice. The no smoking policy isn't enforced and the pool is tiny. I can assure you... the 10/10 reviews are either paid or management creating accounts to boost ratings. See my pictures, you'll understand why we were so disgusted.
Location and the pool is great. However, they need to fix the buildings. The hall way smells of urine and the handrails are broken and just sitting there. My room smelled of **** and cigarettes. I even checked my phone to make sure I booked a non smoking room. Blanket and sheets were thin, pillows were flat. There wasn’t a phone in the room, furniture looked like it was from a thrift store. There was no closet to hang your clothing. There wasn’t any sus people. Jut people looking like they were vacationing. They can do better with fixing up the place for the price that they want. The grounds were well kept and the sushi restaurant next door is great. They can do better for being in the Middle of everything. Check in was a breeze. The front desk clerk was very friendly, the lobby however need to clean up and move all the broken appliances and furniture they no longer need.
