For the record, I really wanted to like the place. The location to Albertsons and 76 station was super convenient. It was nice having the pool and turbo hot tub (you'll understand if you stay) and the drive to Main St. Walla Walla was cute. That was overshadowed by two things. The negative customer service and being overcharged. I can't imagine the lady (term used loosely) behind the counter has much joy in her life. Either that or she doesn't like her job. I guess she could have not liked us... I digress. Check in was botched (printer problems, which she was told she can't fix) and wanted me to sign a blank document agreeing to pay. No, write the amount first and then I'll sign. Done but it was for $1 over what we agreed to pay when booked online. Why is this an issue? How many $1 overcharges have they been able to get away with. Think about how much money that adds up to over time. Asked for extra pillows (there are only small two on the bed) and was told that everyone had already asked for extra pillows and didn't think there would be any. I asked her to check which she did begrudgingly and low and behold, extra pillows. Finally went to check out. Same freaking lady... I announced my presence since she refused to acknowledge me and asked for a zero balance lodging receipt which was still exactly $1 over the rate. Overall, I wouldn't stay again. I'll pay more to have a positive experience with the hotel who values my stay and makes sure the staff feels the same.
