Nice room, ok service, nothing remarkable. Clean and convenient, the restaurant has a nice variety and good service. Not much in the way of amenities, but all in all it was quite cosy and comfortable.

The staff the location the food … everything was excellent from the time we arrived until we left. John and Paul were exceptional hosts. The food was second to none. Ella was very attentive. All staff were friendly and professional. The cleanliness of the hotel especially the bedroom was excellent. Thank you to all the staff in Treacys

Good food and great entertainment in bar. Location excellent had use of gym and leisure centre and staff very friendly.

The room was clean although it could do with an update. I found the staff to be friendly and the breakfast was good. Although my parking ticket was validated at check out, I had to pay €8 at the carpark to get out of it 🤔

When we checked in the room was dirty and outdated, the couch in the room was all ripped, we contacted reception to give us another room, The other room was a little bit better, but unfortunately the cups supplied for tea and coffee where dirty, terrible lack of communication between staff, we got a late checkout for 12:30pm, when it came to the day of checkout, the staff burst into our room at 11:30 never knocked and my wife was not dressed we told the staff we had a late checkout but still reception calls us at 12 and ask why we haven’t checked out I had to explain myself again that we had a late check out for 12:30 pm, the only good part of it was the food was nice, the bar staff had not got a clue, I would not recommend Treacy’s hotel of Waterford. On the day they would not accept cash without photo ID I had to pay by card if I had not got a card I would’ve not been able to pay for the room, they would not accept my wife’s ID because the room was in my name, did not say in the policy That they did not accept cash without ID or any where in the hotel on the email I received from Treacy’s they said check out for 12 pm but I was informed that it was 11:30am the next day when I was looking for a late checkout, they need to update the website and information so customers will have the right information before the book the room.

Great location. Great food, friendly staff, some updating in bathroom needed. Great stay and value for money

Stayed for 2 nights and found it very good value for money. Decor is a little dated but breakfast is very good. Ideally located for a city break.

Had an overnight stay, attending a conference the following day. There was loud noise from fan/machine outside the room. No extraction in the room so couldn't close the window. Reception promised it would stop at 9pm. It went on continuously throughout the night. It was a hot day and no water was provided in the room. Went to the bar to get water and had to wait 30 mins as a large group was in the hotel and only one barman on duty. No shampoo/conditioner provided but that's ok. I was obliged to pay in advance for my stay and couldn't get a receipt until I checked out the following day. Bathroom was dated with broken tiles, no extraction and a notice saying fire alarm could go off if the door wasn't closed. Seal on the shower panel was yellow with age. Wasn't suited to business stay as very noisy and hard to hear on a business call.

Stayed one night most staff were really nice especially Niall who really looked after us aswell as the manager. The pool staff unfortunately were not nice at all.
