マリオット タンパ ウエストショア(Marriott Tampa Westshore)

I chose this Marriott because of the indoor/outdoor pool area! Perfect because it was pouring rain when I arrived and I really wanted to go swimming. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. The free shuttle was convenient and the driver was funny and talkative. I got the business concierge balcony room. Big tv and nice balcony. Used the concierge lounge for breakfast. It was convenient and the food was decent. The on-site restaurant was a little expensive and the food was just OK but the cocktails were great!My stay was perfect for a pre-cruise night.

Really no complementary breakfast for that price they should have it. To top it off tub had hair from previous guest.

we love the hotel and the staff could not be nicer! wonderful, especially the van driver Raul who drove us all over! one negative was the girl behind the counter at checkin was VERY RUDE...(short girl with long black hair...very young) for no reason! she pulledup wrong reservation, quoting wrong credit card and when we questioned her she said "don't give me an attitude!" seriously? we are the customers! we immediately asked for the manager who was wonderful and apologized for her atrocious behavior. other than that we had a wonderful stay!

Located next to “Thee Doll House” gentlemen’s club, so.. know that. Walls were paper thin. Heard every word of neighbors conversations on his phone, in his room. Room service comes in a bag like takeout. No cart even if ordering a $100 meal of steak and salads for me and my son. Instead of a Marriott this should be more properly branded as an Aloft or other box Bonvoy pre-fab hotel.

It advertised 24 hour shuttle service from the airport but it stopped running airport shuttle at midnight. We based our decision to stay here based on the shuttle service as our flight wasn’t arriving until midnight so was disappointed when we called to be picked up only to be told it was done for the night.

Overall our stay was comfortable. We informed the front desk of 3 issues with the shower because we didn’t want to be charged for those issues, including a drain problem, a leaking shower head and a broken on-wall soap dish. Marriott called their Facilities to have the shower plumbing problems fixed, but the next day we found that none of our reported issues were fixed. We told them a second time so we wouldn’t be charged for any damages. Mariott could have switched us to another room but didn’t. They could have given us a discount but didn’t. So we were disappointed with the lack of effort.

We were in Tampa for the Billy Joel concert and all the staff was great. We had a quick bite in the restaurant the food was excellent. We then took the shuttle to the stadium for the concert. Carlos was great and got us as close as possible to the stadium. I would not hesitate to stay again should another event come up in Tampa.

Its clean and well taken care of. Nice amenities as well. Area around the property is lack luster but conveniently close to the airport
