Room was clean. Staff was pleasant. However, we did not have hot water at all one morning and water was lukewarm the other morning. Our in-room coffee maker was not functioning. These matters were reported.

Only two minuses. The design of the sink made it difficult not to splash water onto the marble countertop by the faucet. It was nearly impossible to adjust shower water temperature accurately. It tended to be either hot or cold, and the middle positions of the valve had little effect on the temperature of the water. On the positive side, the room was clean, quiet, and totally comfortable. Great matress. Perfect location for events at the Straz Center. Free morning coffee at the restaurant was a great perk. Good breakfasts too.

I’m sure this place was very nice at one point but it is showing its age. They have attempted to put lipstick on a pig but didn’t do a great job.

Went to see a show at the Straz and chose the Barrymore to stay overnight. An excellent choice for me. Pleasant , quiet room. A nice little happy hour from 5-6. Excellent front desk staff. Overall 5 stars.

The Barrymore Hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. We arrived after a three day drive from Canada and the staff were very accommodating. We appreciate the shuttle service and the beautiful area around the hotel. I hope to stay at the Barrymore in the future and have already recommended it to friends.

The hotel was awesome and hotel staff lovely. The only complaint I had was that I had to shower with freezing g cold water both days. We had other rooms booked and they had no problem with water. It must have been just our room.

Service was appalling in the dining area. No hot water for a shower and staff couldn’t care less.

This was an excellent hotel! It offered shuttle service and was easy to get to from various location around the city.

Staff is quite nice. However hot water problems . Every morning hot water takes up to 5 minutes to flow out of shower head . Room cleaning didn’t happen for a couple of days. Beat part of hotel is the courtesy van service.

Property was well maintained. Front desk staffed at all times with attentive and professional individuals. Located in awesome walkable spot in Downtown Tampa.

My stay was short but this is my third time staying at this property. Rooms are clean and I enjoy the shuttle service.

Our rooms floor was extremely dirty had dried food and particulars of trash everywhere but after that being said the room was nice.

We like the hotel’s proximity to the river walk. We wish there were better dining choices. Clean room. Helpful staff.

Location was great. Property quite aged, bathrooms very dirty, restaurant/bar closed. Much better options in the area.
