シャイロ イン スイーツ ホテル ー オーシャン ショアーズ(Shilo Inn Suites Ocean Shores)

We booked it for a fun convention. I was disappointed right off the bat. I put both my husband's name and mine on the prepay reservation. They insisted that my husband had to come in to show photo ID so they could confirm it really was us. The kitchenette had no towels or anything to wash with. They said they don't have kitchen towels or cloths. We booked 3 nights, they gave us 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels. They said they had a towel shortage. Brought our garbage to the front desk because we didn't know what else to do so they said, put it outside your door and give us a call about it being there. Although, there was no replacement bags in the room. When I went to take a shower, I learned that we had 2 hotel type conditioner bottles and 2 lotion bottles. No shampoo. We only got one mini bar of soap so I used it to wash my hair. The heater in our room didn't work right either. It was either blowing cold or hot when set on Auto. We did try several settings. We froze the first night. Cooked to death second night. Third night just cold but not freezing. I heard the restaurant isn't open yet. I could see things were being worked on but they also seem to have a lack of staff. I don't feel the cost was appropriate for the level of care. I did find 2 of the staff that really did seem to care. One stuck up woman and then lazy ones. Notice the unclean porch. The tore up base of front door.

Although the hotel was fated the room was clean. There is certain rustic feeling about the hotel that you’re stepping back in time. Will stay again.

The convenience was great, and the Ocean view was good. The property is dated and needs renovated and the restaurant was closed!

Terrible in every way. The windows of our ocean view room were so filthy that we couldn’t really see the ocean.

This hotel was absolutely filthy. Had it not been 9:00 PM when we discovered how bad it was, (we had dropped our bags and gone out for the evening) we would have left. No towels and when they finally arrived they were like threadbare dish towels, but it didn't matter. Shower was filthy and did not work. Shower head was rusty and corroded. Pulled out nightstand to plug in phone and it hadn't been vacuumed in God knows how long. There was mold under the soap holder, black crud in the window runners and the outside deck was covered with green algae and black slime. The manager the next morning said she couldn't give me a discount even though she had charged my card. She said I had to go to *******. And she just stood and stared at me. No apology. Don't let the pretty lobby fool you.

The personnel is great. The rooms need to be updated. The rooms feel very 90s. The balcony needs to be cleaned up. The view is amazing.

It was amazing had ocean view from our room and a patio to sit out and watch the ocean and enjoy the quietness

The ******* website reported a restaurant and lounge onsite, but it hasn’t been open for 4 years! The staff said ******* refuses to correct the website! False advertising! And the room was dirty, furniture in disrepair, sink leaked and lights were burn out. Never again!

Rooms are still pretty nice, sitting area, balcony with a view. But the service at the front desk was non existent, no heat throughout the building until you get in your room. No maid service, had to get towels and soap from the front desk. Just really run down from what it used to be.
