Travelers Beware!!! Avoid This Hotel at All Costs We booked through Capital One in advance, with everything fully paid before check-in. However, upon arrival, the hotel charged us twice more for our stay. The issues started as soon as we arrived. The lobby was run-down, with stained drop ceiling tiles and glitter scattered everywhere. Although the website promised express check-in, we waited over an hour. Only one elevator was working, with no inspection papers in sight, and it felt like it could break down any second—definitely not a comforting ride. Once in our room, the problems kept coming: the toilet didn’t work, the A/C was broken, the mattress was stained, and the alarm clock was busted. To top it off, when we tried to connect to the WiFi, the instructions said to dial “0” for the front desk—but the phone didn’t work. We checked out early and are still fighting to get a refund. Stay away from this place—it’s not worth the hassle.
Tevin and Carter were very helpful when I needed to make adjustments to my reservation through a third party. It was simple and quick to make changes. Everyone at the front desk greeted us. The room was quiet, and my kids enjoyed the stay as much as I did.
The accommodations were superb, including a TV that showed Prime, YouTube, Netflix, and Pandora. The accommodations were pleasant, although I disliked the shower since water frequently ended up on the floor, and instead of a microwave, there was a safe and a very small fridge. I recommend booking a room on a corner because they are considerably bigger. The worker at the front desk was friendly and eager to help customers with concerns. Another issue was that one cleaner said they couldn't understand or speak English, which I considered a complete lie.
ゲゲストFriendly staff. Clean quiet atmosphere, breakfast was great, always fully stocked. Price was a little high for the area but was worth it. Only negative thing was not having any vending machines, had to walk all the way to the front every time we needed a water.
The young lady, Ryan, that was working the front desk, was great! The computer system was down but she still mannered to be happy and make sure the guest were as well. I had an issue with the washer not working and she took care of it, while taking care of everything else! Her smile and kindness to everyone was a great sight. She made everyone feel welcome
This place is awful. I mean, it's a Comfort Inn not a roadside motel in Tijuana so what is going on here? The shower had no water pressure whatsoever, the room had a weirdly humid air about it despite our constantly running a/c, the hallway carpeting is abysmally dirty, the elevator glass and floor are dirty (it's impossible to see through the glass), the grout in the tub is in desperate need of replacement and is terribly mildewed, all of the doors, trim and floors are marred, shabby and filthy throughout the hotel, the breakfast area ceiling tiles have water damage and are dirty and gross, and most disturbing of all is the air and heat vent there which is absolutely black with mold! I have actually contacted the Health Department about it. This is not just unsightly but hazardous to anyone and especially for those with breathing issues or asthma. Comfort Inn should be capable of much better and ought to be ashamed to call this one of theirs.
Dark, dreary and old hotel in a not-so-great part of town. Dog-friendly but not great options for taking dogs outside and didn't feel like the safest place when doing so. The hotel apparently isn't e-enabled so I never got a confirmation of my reservation despite asking twice. When I showed up on the day I had made the reservation for, they claimed that I had reserved for the prior night so a) I didn't have a room on the date I showed up and b) they charged me a cancellation fee for the day they had incorrectly expected me to arrive. They were able to find a room for that night but did not waive the cancellation fee for the night they incorrectly reserved. Had they emailed me a confirmation of my reservation like all other hotels do, I would have been able to catch their mistake on the reservation date, but without that it was my word against theirs and I was basically charged two nights for my one night stay. What's really troubling is that I'm honestly not sure it was a mere mistake; it seems a little shady and maybe happens regularly to increase revenue. We'll be passing through Wichita pretty regularly and needless to say, we will never stay here again. (Nor will I ever stay at a hotel that isn't able to email me a confirmation of my reservation.)
KKC CHIEFSThe service was good. Although it was a smoking room it really smelled as if someone had just been in the room and smoked a full pack just before we got there. Not much space. Small for having 2 beds.
I’ve gone to many Red Roof Inns, and this was the third one on this particular road trip. The facility was very nice, clean, and comfortable. However, I had come down with a very cold previous to this. I wanted to stay a third night, but they were sold out for a basketball tournament. I can understand this, but I was so sick; I could hardly move; and their main concern was just getting me out of the room. I needed a late checkout, and with no sympathy from the manager; they kept my $100 deposit for checking out late, and for having to clean the carpet supposedly because of my litter box trained rabbits. The rabbits did admittedly hide under the bed, and two of the housekeeping staff (that I tipped well) had to lift the bed, so we could get them out. What was under that bed; was an accumulation of years of filth, and that carpet was long overdue for a cleaning…..but yet they took advantage of the situation to charge me for it. Also, no Kleenexes and complimentary bottles of water, as all other Red Roof Inns have. Not a friendly place! Two rabbit ears down!! (\ (\ ( -.-) o_(“)(“)
