This is very affordable place close to the city centre, does not offer much more than a clean bed, ensuite bathroom and shared kitchen, also parking inside the gate. If this is what you are looking for - the place is for you.

The place is nice and clean and well kept. The owner is a very helpful guy and allways there If you need him. It is close to the center, even in a walkable distance and shared taxis are allways available.

The owner and staff are very friendly, they made sure we feel welcome and we could call on them any time if we needed any assistants. The guesthouse is very neat, clean and I highly recommend Ramblers to travelers.

Very, very happy with my stay. The owner and his son far exceeded my expectations. They were so incredibly helpful from start to finish. They gave me great recommendations of where to visit and eat, helped me with Yango so I can get around, and find everything I need. They went above and beyond for me. When I encountered a problem at the time of check out, the owner’s son accompanied me to resolve it. I’ve never encountered such excellent service like this. Absolutely outstanding. The room was immaculate. It was so unbelievably clean. To be honest, much cleaner than I’ve ever maintained my house! There was everything I needed. I had stayed in accommodations in Zambia and Zimbabwe beforehand that didn’t have any adapters for my plugs or USBs, so I bought one in Windhoek airport and didn’t need it because he had it all. Very safe location. Owner is conscious of guests’ safety and gives tips on best practices. Walking distance to museums, malls, food, everything. I just put on some sunglasses and a hat and took off walking - safe, clean, easy walk to the center! If I ever find myself in Windhoek, I will be running to this place and I recommend to everyone. I was so surprised at how attentive the owner was that the night I got there I called my mother to tell her how lucky I am because the last hotels I had stayed at were horrible. Also, love the hot water

Ramblers Accommodation was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Everything worked perfectly. The guesthouse owner went out of his way to assist us with various matters. We were most grateful. An accommodation option that we can rely on with peace-of-mind if needed in future.

Very friendly host. Rooms and Kitchen have everything what is needed. Internet is good and location is in walking distance to downtown. Next door is the restaurant of NUST Hotel School where you can enjoy excellent dinner. Simply cheap and best stay in Windhoek.

From the moment your booking is confirmed, shuttle from and to the airport, the adequately equipped kitchen and a clean room. The premises are well kept. And most importantly, quiet. Ramblers' choose their guests. And we are glad they do it this way. Their expertise in the area and city as such is a great plus. Not to underestimate the location. If you a good on foot or just would like to take a stroll to the shopping mall, they will give you clear directions, you won't need an app!
