2/9/24 i seen this baymont/days inn hotel on the app advertising a suite for $100 a night and jumped right on it so i can take my family to Disney on Ice 2/2/24. Back home baymont is a great hotel. But in Grand Rapids it’s a totally different ball game. Smelled like cigarettes on our floor, bathroom dirty, bed sheets was dirty Nothing was ans advertised. But I can say I didn’t yell, scream or demand my money back like most would’ve in this situation. I communicated properly with the front desk and they refunded me 1 night back & my deposit.

I came in there was some sort of disassembled pen used to smoke some substance inside a drawer, was charged for damages that were already in the property. Unhappy with the outcome

This hotel is disgusting!!! The walls are coming apart, the carpet in the hallways and rooms are gross!! The whole hotel smells like an ashtray!! This was by far the worst hotel I've ever been inside of. There is only one entrance!! Seems like a safety hazard!!

Check in process took a long time because they did not have a room available. They ended up giving us a room on their days in side which was not what we booked. Room was filthy with a clogged bathroom sink, bed sheets soiled with food crumbs and hair, sticky residue on all surfaces and carpet was filled with fresh stains of red blood like substance that weren’t even attempted to be cleaned. We ended up switching rooms for one that was smaller and not a suite like we originally had upgraded to. That room was slightly better but cleanliness was still an issue for this property

Paint peeling on all walls. Toilet seat swivel and wasn't secured very well. Took a shower the tub was full of water it don't drain. 3 dinky pillows for a king bed. No waffle maker when we went down for breakfast when there was one in the picture. That was one of reasons we chose this hotel. So false advertising. It was very confusing with having 2 hotels in the same building we didn't know if we were at the right one or not. Outlets by the bed and lamps by the bed didn't work not did the alarm clock. Stains on the curtain that looked like blood.

Dirty shower, spa and pool weren't operational and most of the staff were hard to understand if you are a English speaking person
