Our stay at the Coronado Motor Hotel was fine. The service was good and friendly. The room was clean although it may need a bit of an update. Parking was very nice, right outside the room. The only real critical concern was that the guests in the room next door were able to be heard from our room, like they were in the same room.

Free breakfast in a restaurant with every wall packed with old photos and interesting information about the complex history of the area. Close to the river and many main attractions around town. Five days, great stay! Great weather early March.

Very nice office staff.. Clean room, upgraded to a King.. Great breakfast.. Downside was a very old toilet.. Considering it’s an historic property, I understand.. Overall, we would stay there again..

First, I love the nostalgia, the front desk was great. The first room we assigned to was not clean from previous guest, the second room was closer to road, very noisy but we stayed as we would be out and about all day. On the second morning the toilet started growling and overflowed. We called and maintenance came , there was water all over floor and the tub was also getting some back up. We put all the towels down to stop water. We called to check that it was repaired before returning. When we arrived back the room had not been cleaned and there were no clean towels. I’m sorry but the entire bathroom should have been cleaned!! Disinfected.

It's a nice historic Hotel going back to 1938. Howeaver i think they need to upgrade their outside appearance quite a bit. The Staff was great!! Very good service!! The free breakfasts were very good. The Rooms were clean!! They also need to upgrade their rooms a little too. I would stay there again!!

Cons--not well kept up, has a pool and hot tub, backyard style would not call it a spa or oasis. rusted faucets, worn out carpets, trimming, poor paint, bad smells in room and towels do not smell clean etc. the word motel in the name should be your first red flag!! Pros--Staff was nice, thank you Chad nice guy, the other quest were friendly down to earth and good to talk with.

Older property that is well maintained & well staffed. Large room with excellent bed, convenient laundry, delicious breakfast at Yuma Landing included. Easy parking to load & unload car& convenient location for shopping, site seeing or going to Algodones. I’d recommend this place to others.

STINKS I’m not sure why nobody mentions that the rooms smell like an ashtray. Like someone just smoked a pack the night before. My eyes were burning the minute I walked in. I tried to be a trooper and sleep through but woke at 10:30pm and couldn’t fall back asleep even with the sheets wrapped around my face as a mask. I moved to the car with the pillow but that didn’t last. Eventually decide to check out and move to another hotel at 1:00am. Next day, went back to ask for refund and had zero objections. Vicki was superb and kindly initiated the request for a full refund without issue. No idea why this hotel is reviewed so highly on *******. It’s not accurate whatsoever. If you have any type of allergies, don’t stay here.
