「ああ、残念。ロケーションは最高ですが（近くにホテルが複数あります）、朝食は平均以上でしたが、他のホテルの方がはるかに良い選択肢があります。G は少しひどいです。別のホテルを選びましょう。」

「Good breakfast, big room that we good booked, cleanliness was average but not bad. Good service and the people at reception were friendly.」

「I booked this hotel for my birthday and it was honestly the best decision ever ! It was amazing, luxurious, staff were very nice and friendly . Housekeeping was done daily, we had a beautiful view to the garden and the pool. Would definitely come back again. Be aware there is a deposit you have to pay, £100 per night with a credit card or £200 per night with debit card which wasnt made clear on the website. Deposit was returned fairly quick.」

「Well everything besides our check out experience was great. Really great! Then when checking out, we had 3 interactions with the reception about checking out prior to checking out. and only the one at 12:30 (when checking out with luggage and all), we were told to pay a 200SEK late-fee, which I was then told could’ve been even higher and that I should be thankful they didn’t charge me double… Not nice - and we had 3 interactions prior to this for this exact reason. I wanted to work out first and then shower in the room before leaving. If we were told the first time about the late check out fee; we would’ve checked out then and there. I complained about this practice, to deaf ears. Not coming back despite it being very nice and perfect for a Liseberg weekend with the family」

「great location, just next to the pier. front desk staff are very helpful. rooms and common areas are all spotlessly clean and spacious. They even have free self-laundry space, even though there’s only one available. Luggage storage is also free, though we werent able to get a space as its all full when we checked out.」

「We had great time at the Gothia Towers. The dinner in Heaven 23 with sunset view was the highlight. Easy access from and to the airport with regular bus stopping only 150m from the Hotel. Would stay here again👌.」

「I stayed at Best Western Plus Åby Hotel for a week, and the experience was… mixed. There were a few things that worked, but also enough frustrations that I eventually decided to move on to the other hotel in the neighborhood. The breakfast was fair—not terrible, but not something I looked forward to either. To be honest, if there had been a “no breakfast” option, I would have chosen it. It felt more like something to get through than enjoy. The gym, on paper, looked impressive. It’s really big, which initially felt promising. Unfortunately, it was almost always packed in the evening from 6pm onwards. On top of that, there seemed to be a habit among local guests of standing around chatting and unintentionally blocking the equipment. As a hotel guest just wanting a proper workout, the whole gym experience ended up being quite frustrating and disappointing. The view from my room didn’t help much either—it looked straight onto the front of the race course, which was honestly quite boring and added nothing to the stay. After a week here, I decided to move to Scandic Mölndal, and the difference was noticeable right away. The fitness facilities there were much better suited for actual use, and the overall hotel environment felt calmer and more relaxing. Looking back, Best Western Plus Åby Hotel wasn’t a terrible stay, but it simply wasn’t the right fit for what I was looking for at the time.」
