We had a truly special experience at Farmhouse NaNa, and it is largely thanks to our host Nobu-san. From the moment we arrived, he made our family feel genuinely welcomed, not like guests at a hotel, but like friends visiting a home.
Nobu-san went far above and beyond in every way. He drove us to the nearby Louisiana Mama restaurant for dinner, where we enjoyed a fantastic Italian buffet. The caprese pizza in particular tasted like the ingredients had come straight from a local garden, fresh and memorable. Nobu-san was there to pick us up moments after we texted him after our meal.
Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond anyone's control, we were unfortunately unable to stay the night or enjoy breakfast the following morning. Even so, Nobu-san responded with extraordinary kindness, making sure our family was taken care of and he personally drove us way out of his way to where we needed to go. That kind of hospitality cannot be taught. It comes from genuine generosity of character.
We left Farmhouse NaNa with warm hearts and real gratitude. The setting is beautiful, the home is full of character, and Nobu-san and his very seeet daughter are the kind of hosts who make you feel that Japan is not just a place to visit but a place where genuine human connection is still very much alive. We are so glad we came!
