ガンビアー山の青い湖はこの死火山の火口を占めています。毎年11月上旬に青い湖の憂鬱な灰青は一夜にして明るい青緑色になります。 3月から、また憂鬱な青灰色に戻りました。

ブルーレイクはマウントガンビアの火山溶岩によって形成された火山湖で、ここの湖の水は非常に澄んでいて、深い青色が見えることから名付けられました。湖全体の景色はとても快適で、動植物資源がたくさんあり、ハイキングに絶対に適しています。
