The Archangel Church (_ The first Archangel's Cathedral was built under the leadership of Ivan, the first Archduke of Moscow. After 172 years, it was demolished by the order of Ivan III. All coffins in the cathedral were moved to another church, and the new church was solemnly moved back after its completion. The Archangel Church is dedicated to the Archangel Michael, who is the patron saint of warfare for the princes. The Grand Dukes will come here to pray before they go out, while the others will swear allegiance to the grand duke. Later, after the coronation ceremony, the new Czars led the crowd to the cathedral to worship their ancestors. The main body of the 16th century murals that remain to this day is the fictional portraits of all the princes buried in the cathedral.
