Looking beyond the lakeside of Geneva, you can see the snow-capped peaks of the Alps and Jura Mountains around the city, the snow-capped peaks of Mont Blanc and the vast Lake Lemon, which are full of alpine snow and water all the year round, as clear as a mirror. In the lake, a glittering sword rushes into the clouds, spewing 145 meters high silvery water column, and then turning into a fan-shaped drizzle pouring into the lagoon. This is the representative artificial fountain in Geneva with a century-old history. Beautiful sunshine, the broad lake waves ripple, sailing boats with colorful sails, yachts, streams, swans, seagulls, wild ducks in groups, roaming and playing, full of vitality. There are living water parks, rose parks, English parks, pearl parks and botanical gardens on both sides of Lake Lemon. Ancient trees are towering in the park. Flowers and plants compete for beauty. Visitors can walk in the park free of charge. The lakeside trail is lined with shady trees, and the green lawn is full of flower beds with various patterns composed of flowers. Hotels and luxury villas on both sides of the lake are reflected in the water. The artificial beauty of Lake Geneva is incomparable with the natural beauty. Geneva is also a cultural and artistic center with more than ten museums and exhibitions. One of the most famous is the Museum of Art and History at the southern end of the old city. The museum displays cultural relics, weapons, crafts, ancient paintings and portraits of many historical celebrities, such as Rousseau, the 16th century leader of religious reform, Calvin, the representative of the Renaissance, and so on.
