旧市街は駅の近くの通りです。ここはまだにぎやかで、鉄道弁当があり、阿里山茶を売る小さなお店もあります。通りには愛玉を売る店があります。レモン愛玉はとても美味しいです。さわやかで冷たいです。旧市街の近くにはいくつかの観光客が歩いた板道があります。人が少なくて景色がいいです。散歩できます。駅には鉄道博物館があります。見学できます。

Rising Lake is not actually a lake, but a depression in the mountains, with old railway stations and original forest trails, very nostalgic classic taste, quite romantic.
