Lushan Temple is located on the mountainside of Yuelu Mountain on the West Bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha City. It is a good place to enjoy flowers, smell fragrance, go green, watch ancient times, practise Buddha and taste Zhai. There are many historic sites, which is one of the oldest temples in Hunan Province. The Temple faces the Qingfeng Gorge on the left, drinks Baihe Spring on the right, overlooks Hexi Danfeng in front, Xiangliu in Changdao, and then leans on the wind and cloud of Yubei tablet, deep forest sea. It has the reputation of "the first scenic spot in the Han and Wei Dynasties, the first Taochang in Huxiang", Mountain Gate as archway, Eshu "Gulu Mountain Temple", Tibetan Jingge also known as Guanyin Pavilion, in front of which there are two ancient Luo Hansong plants, which were planted by the Six Dynasties and also known as the Six Dynasties Pine, and has become a living witness of the long history of Lushan Temple. The precious cultural relics preserved in Lushan Temple are the monuments of Lushan Temple, carved in ancient Lushan Temple for Kaiyuan in Tang Dynasty. It is not only the first Buddhist temple in Hunan, but also one of the early Buddhist temples in China. There is a couplet on the Mountain Gate of Lushan Temple "the first scenic spot of Han and Wei Dynasty, the first Taoist site of Huxiang". Lushan Temple is one of the famous Taoist sites in the history of Chinese Buddhism.
