アムステルダムの博物館広場はアムステルダム南地区に位置し、国立博物館、ゴッホ博物館、市立博物館、コンサートホールの 3 つの主要な博物館があります。この地域は、もともとろうそく工場と沼地の芝生で、1885 年に国立博物館が完成した後に建設が開始された博物館広場です。
