The iconic Napali coast is located in the northwest part of Hawaii's longest settled lovely island, stretching 16 miles from Keyne Beach in the southwest to Polihale National Park. The mountains are green, overlooking the northern coast of the lovely island. Located here, the Napali Coast National Park covers more than 6,000 acres and is built to protect the Kalalau Valley. The Valley can not communicate with the outside world, but it is still a good place for hiking and boating. The only path leading to the Karalau Valley is 18 kilometers from Highway 56 (also known as Kuhio Highway) in Hawaii. It runs through five major canyons and several small valleys and reaches the Karalau Valley. To the east of the Napali Coast National Park is the Honolu Anapali State.
