If you want to see where and how people live in Norway, this open-air museum boasts an impressive collection of well-preserved homes and buildings. There is a stunning 13th-century stave church as well as an apartment building where you can see the home of a first generation Pakistani family. On-site you'll find friendly staff that will share stories and history.

If you are interested in norwegian history, you should take a trip to Norsk Folkemuseum. Here you will be able to see buildings from the viking age and almost up until contemporary buildings.
