The exhibits at the Pitt River Museum are placed in a casual manner, reminiscent of the hangar in Indiana Jones, where all the cultural relics are stored. From shrunken heads to wars, there is a mountain of stuff, which is a genuine antique.
At the back of Oxford's Museum of Natural History is the Pitt Rivers Museum, which collects all kinds of things from all over the world. The whole exhibition hall is a three-storey layout around the atrium space. The tall South American wood carvings and hanging sailboats enrich the height of the museum. We walked around the three floors in a fancy way, and all kinds of miscellaneous and dazzling collections made our traveling ability greatly reduced. It took us about forty minutes to turn around the field and watch it carelessly. It is estimated that those engaged in professional research may be interested in these collections, because there are still many kinds of collections here. Perhaps only when we get here can we really realize that the so-called "museum" should be broad, profound and all-embracing.
