It is easy to get lost among the museums in Paris, with the long lines and lots of visitors. Pere-Lachaise Cemetery is a rare gem in the city. The cemetery is beautiful itself and is the final resting place to many famous people, including Chopin and Oscar Wilde. It is also the final resting place of Jim Morrison and Gertrude Stein. The cemetery also has a beautiful and haunting memorial for the Jewish and French Jewish holocaust victims. It is a great place to go for a long walk and check out the famous resting places. There are gorgeous views of the city from the top of the park.
