Our whale-watching vessel, Doroman, is the largest whale-watching vessel in Hualien Harbor. It can take up to 80 people. Before and when we go to sea, there are volunteer guides from Ocean Foundation. The whole journey lasts two to three hours.
In the wind and rain, whales and dolphins are admired at the North Pacific Ocean and Philippine Sea Fair. In a romantic encounter with whales on the turbulent dark blue sea surface, it is difficult to distinguish between whales and dolphins in the turbulent boat.

Seeing that the whale-watching program was quite good on Ctrip, I chose a one-day tour, including whale-watching. The girls on the bus were fully armed. It seemed that they were not equipped enough. After taking seasickness medicine, they fainted in the whole process.

In fact, whale watching is mainly about dolphins. It is said that there is a family of dolphins in Hualien Sea, so the probability of seeing dolphins in the sea is still very high. It's not easy to really want to see whales. It's almost impossible.

We need to book ahead of time and not always see whales. We need some luck. We got up early and went to the sea by boat. We waited for a long time. We didn't see what we thought we couldn't see, but it was exciting to see whales in the near future.

Early the next morning, the Chartered driver took us to the whale-watching ticket office, but the staff there said that after the heavy rain the previous day, the whale might not be seen today, so they regrettably abandoned the journey.

Whether you can see whales depends on your luck. Dolphins are sure to be able to see. They are beautiful. The sea is very clear. There are many dolphins. The boatman will drive very close to you to take pictures. That is, they are a little seasick at sea.
