The library is very quiet and comfortable. The door opens at eleven o'clock on weekends. If you arrive early, you can sit outside for a while. People who don't borrow books can still wander around reading magazines without getting a card. There are quite a few noon books, and some reading rooms related to local industries. Unfortunately, there is little financial economy.

The building resembling the Colosseum in Rome, Italy, is Vancouver's largest public library. It has a unique appearance. It is made up of many cylinders surrounded by a circle, so it has a large area. There are many CD-ROMs and video materials besides the traditional books. The library has a very rich collection of books, which is absolutely worth visiting.
