Mixed feeling after staying at this hotel. The room is in the ”Business” section, but there is no table and chair for work.
No hangers or towel hooks near the sink
. No programs in English on TV.
Staff is friendly, check-in is fast.

I stayed at a nice local hotel conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Fulong Snow Park. While my room was slightly dirty, it wasn't enough for me to raise a complaint; it felt as though the cleaner might have been in a hurry.
I attempted to order room service, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. Breakfast offered a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, but I found it lacking compared to other hotel breakfasts I've experienced.
One downside was that there was no way to book tickets for the snow park directly through the hotel. Perhaps there was a method, but it wasn't available in English.
At Fulong Snow Park, I encountered difficulties as the English-speaking window had no staff who could assist in English. It was quite challenging to navigate everything. Fortunately, I managed to find an English-speaking ski instructor named Alex, who I highly recommend. Although this is unrelated to the hotel, I felt it was worth mentioning!
ゲゲストThe hotel was actually very nice, but it sure does need a renovation overhaul, rooms were used to put it in a nice way... Location is a bit far from Qinghuangdao, but the seaside is really nice and staff was helpful.. Oh, and the restaurant was surprisingly good, been living in China for many years and the chefs at this hotel definitely know what they are doing..
RRichterA true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again.
JJEWHOSmacked at town centre, great location. Staff 小王& 小张were helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and there are complimentary washers n dryers which are essential for my family of 5. There is a heated swimming pool and few other hot pools in the spa which are really great for skiers like us to relax. However cleanliness in the pool and relaxation corner (where guests can get paid massage) can be further improved. Thanks for hosting us!
