This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to China! Li Bo welcomed us upon arrival and made our check-in experience truly exceptional. He showed us several room options, helped us choose the one we liked best, and even treated us to delicious coffee. Despite the language barrier, he went above and beyond by communicating with us through a translator. He shared recommendations for local attractions, helped us order food, and even drove us to several locations around Zhangjiajie. His kindness, hospitality, and willingness to help made this the most welcoming hotel experience I have ever had! If you are planning a trip to Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. 🇨🇳 Ho Perfect if you're entering via the East Gate! Beautiful rooms, amazing service. Keep this in mind for your trip! 📌 🛏️ 1. Exactly as pictured & Great value for money - The room is fantastic, very new, and spotlessly clean. I booked a room with a bathtub and got the 4th floor. It looked exactly like the photos. The price in late March was amazing—less than $30/night (getting a bathtub at this price is super worth it!). The furniture looks brand new. - The bathroom is great, with clearly separated wet and dry zones. It has a smart toilet with a heated seat and auto-flush! - Amenities are quite complete. However, the hotel provides disposable towels. If you have a larger build, they might not cover you completely (I'm petite, so it didn't bother me), but the material is highly absorbent. - Good to know: the building has an elevator, but you do have to carry your luggage up a few steps to reach the entrance, so it's not 100% wheelchair accessible. But once inside, you can comfortably use the elevator without carrying your bags up to the higher floors. 📍 2. Quiet location but easy to get around - The hotel is slightly tucked away from the busy, bright areas, making it very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. - Getting to the park is super easy. You can catch a Didi to the East Gate, and it’s very cheap—only about $0.70 per ride. - As for food, even though it's not right next to convenience stores or restaurants, you can easily order food delivery. If you want to eat out, you can take a Didi or walk to the restaurant area. It's not far, less than 1 kilometer away. 👩🏻💼 3. Friendly owner & Excellent service - The owner manages the reception herself and is extremely hospitable. She gives great advice on exploring the park. Whether you plan a 1-day or 2-day itinerary, she can recommend the perfect walking route. I planned a 2-day trip, so she suggested entering via the East Gate on the first day and the South Gate on the second day. - She is always in a good mood and genuinely seems to love her work. Her bright energy makes talking to her an absolute joy 🤣 I was so impressed! - Her English is okay for basic communication, but for convenience and speed, we used WeChat. The translation feature made it smooth, and we understood each other perfectly. 🎟️ 4. Better ticket discounts through the hotel - I highly recommend this! If you need tickets, let the hotel book them for you—the prices are actually better than booking through popular travel apps. - Whether it's the national park ticket (she also helps book your entry time slot for every day you plan to visit—though if you want to change the time, you need to ask her to update it for you), Baofeng Lake, or the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, she can get them at a cheaper price. - Another perk is the unpredictable weather in Zhangjiajie. Letting her book day-by-day or close to the date means you don't have to risk booking too far in advance. I changed my plan easily because of fog and rain, and it was completely stress-free. 🚑 5. A personal note of gratitude (why I'm writing this review so long) Late at night on March 25th, I had a medical emergency. I reached out to the owner, and she was incredibly helpful. She actually left the hotel counter to take me to the hospital and helped sort everything out 😭🙏 (I truly apologize to the other guests staying that night!). I was so touched and grateful, and didn't know how else to repay her, so I wanted to write this review to pass on the good word. Summary: This stay was super comfortable and truly heartwarming. Not only because of how much she helped me, but the rooms and facilities are genuinely excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, please keep this hotel in mind! ❤️

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room is clean. Very near to mrt station directly go down from lift though we prefer getting around with Didi, pretty short distance too to streets. Snacks and amenities is provided. Just one thing to be improve, get a new hook for people to hang our clothes after shower. The initial one was too close and inside shower, not convenient. Other than that is a good place to stay at a reasonable price.

If you’re looking for an English review, here it is! Location: We stayed for 6 nights in the Jade Room, and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel is only a short 3-minute walk from Huangxing Pedestrian Street, tucked inside a small alley off the main road. While taxis can’t drop you right at the entrance, the walk is easy and luggage-friendly. The surroundings are quiet at night but still feel very safe. There’s also a nearby corner shop that holds Taobao parcels, which is super convenient, and the reception staff will guide you if needed. Service: The service was genuinely outstanding and truly made the stay feel like a home away from home. Communication was clear, warm, and responsive from the beginning. We confirmed our booking via WeChat and received prompt replies along with helpful directions and a clear map. We arrived past midnight, but the staff kept in touch and reassured us that someone would meet us on arrival. A friendly young gentleman greeted us with a big smile, brought us to our room, and followed up with the passcodes for Wi-Fi and door access (the lobby area locks after 10pm). Most evenings, they sent a message about homemade desserts available on a first-come-first-serve basis—such a thoughtful touch. They were also extremely helpful when I needed to order food through *******, letting me use the front desk number since I didn’t have a local phone. I was also able to receive Taobao parcels at the hotel, and the staff neatly gathered them for easy pick-up. Truly attentive and heartfelt service throughout. Cleanliness & Room: The room had basic amenities and toiletries, which were sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, we couldn’t find a safe or mini fridge— not a deal breaker, but something to note if you’re expecting those features. The cleaning team was polite and checked in daily to see if we needed housekeeping. Fresh towels and bottled water were consistently provided, which we appreciated. Still, the overall cleaning could have been more thorough. We noticed crumbs and hair on the floor, suggesting that sweeping or vacuuming wasn’t done completely, and there were some shoe marks left in the bathroom. Not major issues, but worth mentioning. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and despite the minor cleanliness concerns, we would happily rebook this accommodation on our next trip to Changsha. _______ 地点（Location）： 我们在翡翠房（Jade Room）住了 6 晚，地点真的非常棒。酒店距离黄兴步行街只有大约 3 分钟的步行路程，藏在主街旁的一条小巷里。虽然出租车不能直接把你送到酒店门口，但小巷平坦好走，拖着行李也完全没有问题。周边环境晚上很安静，但仍然非常安全。附近还有一家包裹代收的小店，可以领取淘宝包裹，非常便利，前台也会指导你如何前往。 服务（Service）： 酒店的服务真的非常贴心，让人有一种“家外之家”的感觉。沟通顺畅、友善且回应快速。我们通过微信确认了预订，酒店很快给了回复，并附上了详细的路线说明和清晰的地图。 我们是在深夜抵达的，但他们一路保持联络，告诉我们随时可以联系工作人员。到达后，一位年轻的小哥满脸笑容地迎接我们，带我们到房间，并马上发送了 Wi-Fi 和门禁的密码（酒店前台与客房通道晚上 10 点后会上锁）。 大多数晚上，他们都会发消息告诉我们当天有自制甜点，数量有限、先到先得——非常温馨的小惊喜。当我需要用**点餐时，他们也非常乐于协助，因为我没有中国手机号，他们让我直接填写前台号码作为联系号码。另外，我也收了不少淘宝包裹，前台都会帮忙整理好，让取件变得更方便。整体服务相当贴心、周到。 房间与清洁（Room & Cleanliness）： 房间提供基本的设施与盥洗用品，住起来还是舒适的。不过，我们没有找到保险箱或小冰箱——不是硬性需求，但如果你特别需要这类设备，建议提前确认。 清洁人员每天都会礼貌询问我们是否需要打扫房间，毛巾和瓶装水也都有每天补充，这点非常不错。然而，整体清洁度可以再更细致一些。我们发现地板上有一些面包屑和头发，似乎没有彻底打扫；浴室地面上也有鞋印。虽然不是严重的问题，但仍值得一提。 整体评价： 整体入住体验非常愉快，即便有些许清洁的小问题，我们仍然非常愿意在下次来长沙时再次入住这里。

My husband and I decided to stay here in Yangjiajie instead of Wulingyuan to do Zhangjiajie ”backwards” and avoid the crowds. It was the best decision we made! Kelly was so helpful throughout our stay. 1- Kelly showed us the best 2-day itinerary and we got to do and see so much. 2- we pre-booked ZJJ tickets through GetYourGuide, which was originally for an East Gate check-in (wulingyuan) and we couldn't get the vendor to change it to the West Gate (Yangjiajie). Kelly called a few people to pull favors for us we and got it changed to the West Gate! 3- Kelly helped us transport our luggages to our next hotel in near the Tianmen Mountain cableway. This allowed us to have a full day at the park, leave through the East Gate, and take a didi to our next hotel without our luggages stress-free. 4- Kelly would make sure we got fed each morning and night. There is a private chef on the property. We had breakfast around 7:30am each morning and dinner was from 5:30pm - 8pm (the park closes around 5-6pm so you'll definitely be back in time for dinner). Outside of Kelly's amazing service, the hotel is located inside of the park so before you check-in, make sure you tell Kelly what time you're arriving so they can pick you up at the gate! The hotel is located 5mins walking from Yangjiajie cableway so getting around was easy. Again, staying here instead of the tourist-popular East Gate/Wulingyuan was the best decision ever (although, knowing mandarin definitely helped - but I think Google Translate would be just fine). Sure, you sacrifice food options but the private chef's dishes were home-cooked goodness and not lining up for the Bailong elevator/anything at all and avoiding the sea of people is worth it all! This was our best stay in China all thanks to it's location and Kelly's superb service.

今回の張家界旅行で最も満足したのは宿泊したホテルでした。地理的に非常に恵まれており、近くには美味しい食べ物がたくさんあるので、食事を見つけるのに非常に便利です。ホテルは高層階にあり、外界の喧騒から隔離されており、静かな生活環境が整えられています。部屋は広くて快適、空間のレイアウトも合理的、ベッドは柔らかく肌に優しいので、毎晩ぐっすり眠ることができ、旅の疲れも吹き飛びました。旅行といえば、天門山にとても近く、タクシーであっという間に到着できるので、通勤時間が大幅に節約でき、旅行の計画もよりゆったりとできます。ホテルのサービスは申し分ありません。チェックイン前に、マンティングさんは電話をかけて、私の要望を詳しく尋ねてくれました。また、地元の旅行ガイドも送ってくれたので、初めて旅行する私にとって、すぐに方向感覚がつかめました。毎晩出されるヘルシーなお粥は、熱々で砂糖抜き。甘いものが苦手な私のような客のことも十分に考慮した設計。個人の好みに合わせて自由に調整できる。その配慮が細部にまで表れています。旅行から帰った後、疲れ果て、服も汚れていました。幸い、ホテルが衣類の集荷サービスをしてくれたので、翌日には乾いたきれいな服を受け取ることができ、汚れた服を家に持ち帰る手間が省けました。チェックアウトの際、若い女性が熱心に茶眼月精のタピオカミルクティーを2箱くれました。そのおかげで、この快適な滞在体験は完璧に終わりました。このような高品質のホテルは、張家界を訪れるすべての観光客にとって間違いなく理想的な選択です。

This hotel has a great location right in the heart of the ancient town. Please note that you need an entrance ticket to access the area. You can purchase it through Trip.com, at the entrance, or directly through the hotel, which offers a discounted rate. The view is absolutely incredible. Our window overlooked the waterfall and the illuminated old town, creating a truly magical atmosphere, especially at night. The room was quite small, and it could be noisy in the evening due to the activity outside. However, after the lights were turned off around midnight, it became very quiet, and we slept well. There were a few things that could be improved. The shower cabin was leaking slightly, and the windows were quite dirty. Since the breathtaking view is the hotel’s main highlight, I would strongly recommend keeping the glass cleaner so guests can fully enjoy the scenery. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and assisted us with transportation arrangements. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the stunning location and view made the stay worthwhile.
