Timing is everything

Saw more salmon schooled up here than anywhere else on our trip to Alaska. Unfortunately, no bears for us at the bear creek weir. Neat little area though.

Salmon spotting

Great spot to see salmon right off the road. With an easy trail to walk around and explore the forest.

worth the quick stop

This is a real quick stop ... it was cool to watch the chum salmon trying to jump up and fight their way up... and it was cool to go across the street and see the parking lot of fish in the river all ...

Lachs

Lachs auf der großen Wanderung zu beobachten ist doch was Schönes! Lachs wohin das Auge reicht, absolut sehenswert!
