After nice Soba lunch in Shiroyama garden we climbed up to see the former site of the Izushi Castle and found the Izushi Shrine... Cosy and nice, wit great overlook to the city.

I saw it at dusk and this may have added to the magic feeling but what strikes me about such shrines is how alive the faith still is, people of all ages and social background come to pay their respect...

趣のある但馬國一宮

現在は豊岡市となっている出石の街の北に建つ出石神社は、但馬國一宮であり、なかなか趣のある佇まいです。駐車場は西側徒歩３分くらいの所にあります。御朱印は、直書きと書き置き（コウノトリの絵入り）２種ありました。
