The Westerkerk, 5 minutes from Hotel Pulitzer, was built in the style of the renaissance and in the form of a patriarchal cross. It was not the first protestant church built in Amsterdam, but it was the biggest for sure. The Westerkerk is open to the public between 11am and 3pm, six days a week (closed on Sundays).
